Buffalo Mountain Oklahoma is the premiere mountain flying site for this area. It is a privately owned and flying club leased flying site. Dues are $60 / year. USHGA membership is required for insurance. With a large slope/ramp take off, several miles of ridge and large landing areas below, this is foot launched heaven. The road to top is two wheel drive dirt / rock. It also has a top landing area for hang 4's. Rustic camping is allowed. There is an annual 4th of July Fun Fly In. Rated at a hang 2.
