FN P90 w/ Silencer AEG
Review by: YouNG BLooD

The FN P90 is Tokyo Marui's answer to non-conformist players. Those who enjoy being different and are willing to spend time to perfecting the game should send their application here!

Appearance :
-The P90 is quite the small submachine gun. The length of it will only be about 3/4 the measure of your own arm. In fact, if you ever played Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty to the end, you'll see a fine example of how small it really is (Solidus spins it around his finger like a pistol!). The P90 is of a bullpup design, and that normally in AEG's provides a higher ROF, because of the nature of the build of the gun. But essentially, everyone should know it's not what gun you have, but the person who wields the gun. Having a small SMG like the P90 can't hurt you though, you gotta admit. It's smaller size will weigh you down less and enable to be able to run faster and be more maneuverable than if you were lugging a rifle around. The P90 also has a nice rubber butt plate that is removable and stores everyone's favorite little mini battery.

-An added note is the little silencer I attached to my P90. The P90 has negative threads, so the conception of righty-tighty, lefty-loosey should be switched when applying the silencer. The silencer that I used, I do not know the exact model/name of , since Grim Reaper , my team captain gave it to me for free. This silencer is also used in the Socom that Monster in Motion offers. If you email the webmaster of that site, I'm sure that he can help you out.

-The trigger on the P90 is also unique, and is similar to the functionality of the Steyr Aug. Below the trigger is a 3-Point Switch. There's a white "S" that stands for Safety. Then the middle option (switching the trigger to the right once) will lock the trigger into Semi-Auto mode. The last option will give you full auto, but if you pull the trigger down only halfway, the P90 will only shoot one shot,  giving you a semi and full auto session with one trigger option. Fun huh?

Pros :
-Small, compact and light.

-P90 Clips have dummy rounds!

-Free Red Dot Scope. It doesn't magnify or anything, but hey , it's free.

-Free Rail on the side of the Red Dot Scope!

-Supposedly the P90 has a Rate of Fire that almost matches the FA-MAS. That's questionable, but I do agree that the P90 has a high ROF.

-EG1000 Motor! Motors dont make that MUCH of a difference, but you could brag to newbies that you have a 1000 motor! WOW!

-"Pressure-Sensitive" trigger, giving you Semi and Full Auto modes in one option! No need to keep pushing the trigger switch!

Cons :
-Clips for the P90 are long and it feels awkward to reload. The easiest way to unload the clip I think is to hold the gun vertically, barrel pointing up, and pushing the trigger release button and the clip should fall out. The other hassle is that placing the clip back on without taking too much time seems like a chore. But this will only bother you if you're stuck behind a barrier in a firefight and need to shoot back quickly. It's also near-impossible to find a vest that houses P90 mags. The only available container of P90 mags is the thigh  holster offered for $32 on Redwolf.

-Mini batteries! This can be easily remedied by purchaing a compartment extension and using a custom made 9.4 volt battery on Redwolf Airsoft!
-The section where the shells are suppose to come out in the real P90 looks really funny. Fortunately, it's on the bottom of the gun where it not easily noticeable. I would prefer it if Tokyo Marui just covered it up or something.

-If you lack a silencer, it'll be hard to position the P90 against a horizontal service. With rifles, you can place them on a rock, tree log, top of sand dune , etc,... It's a little hard with a flash hider that only  sticks out 5 cm.

Overall :
-The P90 is so much fun! I would recommend this gun only to those players willing to take a chance and work with this gun. I admit that it took me a few hours to get used to the way the P90 shoots and handles. I haven't seen a metal body available yet, but high-cap mags, side rails and the like are available. SQuiD also managed to fit a fatty 8-ring on the silencer and put a flashlight and laser temporarily on my P90. When I get pics of that, I'll be sure to post them. This gun won't let you down, and don't listen to those idiots who say the gun is ugly! Because it really comes down to what you think, not what they think. And hey, you can embarrass them by killing them with an "ugly gun." Haha, even thought it appears that I have more cons than pros, I would give this AEG a 9/10 rating, or a A- grade.

Fun Stuff :
-The P90 is still a not widely-used SMG. But the agencies that do use them are usually law enforcement of some sort, like SWAT.
-The real P90 can shoot through Kevlar and holds up to 50 rounds per clip, 20 more than most rifles. Take that  bank robbers!
-Contrary to popular belief, the Tracer Unit is applicable to the P90 using the AK adapter and it is also rumored  that the MC-51 Inner Barrel can be installed on the P90
