GLOSSARY
Note: Everything
written in WHITE is
written by Squid, while
everything in teal is written by me, Young Blood.
Adrenaline:
Vile's best friend. A rush of power/speed
etc,... You basically turn Super Sayin until your body feels that you're
done with doing whatever you needed to do.
AEG'S:
Stands for "Airsoft/Automatic Electric
Gun."
Airsoft:
If you think that this is oxygen that feels soft like a baby's ass, you
are one of those nerdy internet dudes and need a life.
Commonly referred to Airsoft as a whole
sport, or to the Electric guns. It's basically playing with Automatic Electric
Guns
(that can't be modified to shoot real/live rounds) that shoot 6mm Plastic
(light or heavyweight) or Metal Coated BB's. It is also possible to shoot
6mm paintballs, but no one does that. It's dumb, don't even think of
it...you idiot! Airsoft, in layman terms is either described as
"Counter-Strike in real life, but non lethal form" or
"Paintball with BB guns":
Automatic: Something
that could send 250 bbs at you in less than 10 seconds. You'll be
sorry to actually try to go against us.
Dead man walking:
Its your nickname if you get shot by bb's and you are out of the game or
"dead". You will walk to the starting point of the game
while holding your gun and hands on top of your head. You better be
happy it's only plastic that was shot at you. But if you purposely run out
to get shot cause your scared, than I don't know what to say...you pussy!
Dawg sh*t: Squid's best friend.
Be like me, don't ask.
REAL MEANING: When you are stealthily running
and following your waypoints during a game, you accidentally step onto a
pile of what looks like your grandma's pudding and you say to yourself,
"Damn, stupid dogs." Later you think to yourself that it isn't
the end of the world because the squishy noise your boots make isn't so
bad because if someone pisses off, you can just "accidentally"
fall down and in that split second, wipe it on that person.
Dragon:
Youngblood's best friend. Not a real animal,
but made up by Chinese Legend. Face it, Dragons kick ass.
EBB:
EBB stands for "Electronic Blow
Back." EBB's are pistols that use your common double or triple A
batteries as a power source and provides the ability to have a
Semi-Automatic weapon without the need to "re-cock" the spring
for every shot. Unfortunately, the practicality of EBB's are limited, and
are only comparable to springers and minis. EBB's can't even compete with
GBB's, which eliminates it's usage as secondary weapon alongside an AEG.
Fart:
Joker's hobby when bored.
Fat douche bag:
Don't really know, its Chris's call name and it reminds us of the
Marshmallow dude from Ghostbusters. A Douche
Bag is um....yea....for girls and it um...yea...this is a family website,
if you don't know what it is, then ask your mommy.
F.O.B.:
I just wanted to say how weird this one person is.
One time, our team went to an airsoft store to see if they got any cool
guns and saw that it was closed. So we just walked up to it and looked
through the window at the visible guns. I noticed out of the corner of my
eye this one Chinese lady was hiding behind a pile of army clothes ;
cautiously looking at us to see if we were gonna rob her store or
something. First of all, her store is made up of airsoft guns. If we stole
something, she can just take one of those M-60's and rush out Rambo style
and waste our asses until we come running to our mommies. Second of all, I
just wanted to mention how funny she looked at us....as if she were trying
to scare us with her chinky eyes and fat glasses. Oh sorry bout that. I
just wanted to mention it because I couldn't forget how funny that one
time was.
If you think we're being racist, we're not.
SQuiD and I are also Azian. Oh and for all of you people "not
exposed" to the Azian Community, F.O.B. means "Fresh off the
Boat."
FPS:
FPS stands for "feet per second"
which is the velocity or speed at which we usually discuss Airsoft guns
shooting at. The higher the FPS, the more it'll hurt when you get hit.
Unmodified AEG's usually have an FPS from about 290 to 330.
GBB's:
Stands for "Gas blow backs"
which are gas powered pistols or handguns.
Getting-shot-by-your-own-teammate/Friendly
Fire:
An act we use if you start thinking that you can't handle being shot at
and start pissing in your pants. Squid's simultaneous 3 shot SPAS
shotgun will make you see how much of a wuss you are.
Also,
if someone is being REALLY annoying or stupid on the team, then we might
shoot you for that too.
Girls: Something
every man on our team wishes to have on the team.
Goggles: Something
our team and everyone else better use if playing airsoft; It'll keep from
getting a metal plated bb jammed into the part of your brain that keeps
you from getting impotency.
Heavyweight
BB's: Refers to BB's that weigh
.20 or .25 grams and are usually colored white or gray. They are most
commonly used in AEG's and GBB's.
Lightweight
BB's: We
recommend them only in use with springers and minis. If you use them in
AEG's or GBB's, they're likely to spray wildly in the air and be totally inaccurate. They
most commonly refer to BB's that weigh .12 grams.
Minis:
Refers to "mini" versions of AEG's.
It's powered by a weak motor and has a small hop up system also. It is
powered by 4 "Double A" batteries and comes in the following
models: MP5, G3A3, M16A2, XM177e, AK47, STEYR AUG, SIG550 and UZI. The
BB's are not fed through a clip, but by actually inserting them in the
gun, and they hold about 70 BB's, except for the AUG, which holds about
120 BB's. There are also "scopes" that you can attach to the MP5
, G3A3 and SIG Models, but they are just used as an extra space to hold
BB's, and do not have lenses to magnify vision.
Point man: SQUID
This is the guy that has the most unfortunate position. He is the first
guy that leads his team which means he can easily get shot at first. A
wrong move is not acceptable! He also does the most damage when he sees a
group of tangos because he has a shotgun that shoots spreaded bb's at
them. He should be stealthy and consistent at all times and should always
have a rifleman to back him (it is actually option for the Point man to
have a rifleman behind him. But it is a VERY good idea). This way, if the
point man needs to reload, he has someone to cover him. He also leads the
team which way he wants to go and he shoots at anything that's not on his
own team. So you better not take your dog for a walk near a game or else
your dog will just look like a chewed-up, deformed 2-legged rat that lost
his ability to piss out the right way. Point
man can also be considered a scout. He/She is our canary, of sorts.
Rifle
Man: FAT
DOUCHE BAG & JOKER
The guy your team members should trust as his own brother ; because he's
the guy that backs you up with an automatic airsoft gun. If you need
to reload, he's there to protect you. Be sure not to say something bad at
or offend him because he has the automatic and you might just still be
stupidly reloading your damn gun. Yea, it's
the whole "Don't piss me off or I'll leave you here to die"
mentality.
THE REAL ANSWER BY WEBMASTER "V":
Rifleman is the person who has the highest marksmanship in the team. This
is why there are only a couple of them on the team. They are the one who
picks out the enemy and tries to kill them within the first shot.
RPM: In
car talk, this would be rotations per minute, but when we're talking about
Airsoft, it stands for "rounds per minute." The RPM for AEG's
vary, but the ones with the highest are the FA-MAS and Steyr AUG (They are
bull pup designs).
Semi -
Automatic: Basically, it
means that when you finally pull the damn trigger on your gun, that it
won't blast out all of it's rounds like an Automatic would. If you want to
continually shoot, you have to keep pulling the trigger.
Springers: Springers
are Airsoft pistols or rifles that are relatively weak in terms of FPS.
They do have clips and can have accesories on them , but you are not given
the luxury of automatic or even semi-automatic fire. Depending on the
model, (usually the bolt or cocking hammer) you have to cock the spring every time
that you wish to fire a BB. Though not completely ineffective, springers
are not usually practical unless you are skirmishing with other tangos who
are also using springers. They are extremely cheap in price compared to
the AEG's and GBB's though. So if you just want to get introduced to the
sport and mess around in your house or backyard, Minis or Springers are
usually recommended.
Squad
Support: YOUNGBLOOD
The position on our team who has an automatic electric airsoft gun and is good
enough to send his whole clip towards you. He supports the team in anyway
possible and is not afraid of holding the trigger down when you're
on the ground crying. Fear knows no bounds
for Squad Support...
THE REAL ANSWER BY WEBMASTER "V":
Squad Support are the guys who give cover fire for the team and makes sure
the enemy doesn't try anything.
Tango:
Terrorist. 'Nuf said!
Team Leaders: VILE
& GRIM
REAPER
These are the guys that have the most experience in gun fighting, moving techniques
and battle strategies. They are the guys you should be most afraid of
because when they are in the mood for shooting, they have no pity on your
loser of a corpse. They also know much more about guns and compact weapons
than your grandpa did after being attacked by Nazi terrorists while
taking a dump after mistakenly eating his partner's scabs instead of
corn flakes during World War II.
Tokyo Marui Remote Controlled
RV Airsoft Tanks:
Something we would really like to have so we could just drive it up under
a terrorist's legs and shoot him in the nuts without actually letting them
see us. After psychotically laughing for a couple of minutes, we just run
up to the tangos when they are still seeing if they turned impotent, and
waste our clips on him.
