THE TABLE
|
|
The table is the second obstacle dogs learn
when starting agility training.
The dog needs to jump on the table and stay
there for a fixed time. This is the reason that
a table needs to be built in a way that will make
it stable. It should be coated with non-slip
material.
|
When teaching this obstacle to the dog
it is recommended to cover the table in a
way that it would be impossible for a dog
to run underneath it.
There are different table sizes for
different kinds of dogs.
As seen here in the photo, the large dogs
have a rather large table. All table sizes are
defined in the FCI standards.
