Katella Relays
Mood:
celebratory
Topic: Weekend Fun
WOOOOOOOO! Katella relays was amazing. i was entered in the 4x1600 Varsity and 4x400 Varsity. we got second in the 4x1600 and third in the 4x400. My mile time was pretty acceptable, but im aiming to get a much better time this thursday in the first South Coast Dual meet against mission. i got two different times told to me. one being a 4:56 and the other being a 4:59, but im going with the 4:56, cuz it was from someone on the ground. i never heard my 400 time, but im guessing it was somewhere in the 56's cuz our team time went down three seconds from Irvine. now for the actual races. First was the 4x1600 at 9:50am. it was gonna go Dane first, Wendel second, Ramsey third, and i was supposed to round it off and finish it up for us. Dane ran a good time of 4:45 to get us into third. He passed on to Wendel who ran the fastest mile out of all of us, and Insane 4:40, but still we were in third. he passed it off to ramsey, who came in at a 5:00, but by this time we fell behind by like two or three meters into fourth. I was handed the baton, and now it was my turn to get us a good finish. about 150 meters into my mile, i move us up from fourth into third place, just breezing past the guy ahead of me. but as i pick up the pace slightly, he decides to come along with me. for the next three laps its just me and him, him drafting off of me, and me leading, probably expecting to outkick me. theres 200 meters to go until i reach the finish line. i get bumped into fourth place. i cannot believe this, i actually fell for his plan. he started his kick at the 200 meter mark, and i couldnt do anything about it. 150 meters to go it looks like its all lost, hes gotten even further away. BUT NO, I WANT MY VARSITY POINTS! i start to kick, determined to outsprint him by all means. 125 meters to go, heh heh sucker, hes eating my dust now, theres no chance hes even gonna catch me now cuz im still accelerating. 110 meters to go i see two more kids ahead of me. theyre a good 15 meters ahead. i cant believe this, i could actually get us first place(thats basically what i was thiking). i decide to put all ive got into catching them and outsprint them. 75 meters to go, im right on their asses. 50 meters to go, its just me and Santa Ana. 40 meters, 30 meters, 20 meters, 15 meters hes dead. i sprint all out for the last 15 meters, and i believe i got us first place. but it turns out that anaheim was in our division, and they got first, but dont know by how much. but that was the greatest finish i have ever experinced. I took my team from fourth place into second place in a matter of 150 meters. i outkicked three people, something i didnt think was possible. it was the greatest experince of my life. the 4x400 meter, all the credit goes to John. he caught the third place guy and out kicked him to the finish line. well im at 3.5 points right now, and i only need four more. hopefully i can score against San Clemente, or if i get one more chance of running the 4x400 again. i really wanna letter this year. today is excatly one month that ive been posting things on here yay me . . .

Well this weekend is gonna be the Katella Relays. And as of this afternoon im running in three events. Some intresting things happened today during track. Apperently Baldini and Springer got kicked off for one reason or another. Today was realy weird. ive been drifting in and out. i was asleep for sometime today and i didnt even realize it. meh its been a really funky day. In track the workout was a ladder. 800,1000,1200,1000,800 running every other 200 fast/slow. it was a good workout. hmm i guess thats it, other than minor minor things happening. as for the events im gonna be doing at Katella, im currently in the 4x1600M, 4X800M, and 4X400M Varsity. hopefully we do good enough so i can get some points there. Tomorrow ill have the final Schedule as to which events im gonna be doing. im also entering the Planner cover design contest for no apperent reason. i guess i just feel like doing something fun, see if i can win. good bye

sleepy . . . really really sleepy! im pretty much at the point where i am really tired from exhaustion. i mean dead tired. todays track workout was supposed to be 4 sets of 4 200's and i only did the first set before i had to stop. i was barely hitting 35's and i was sprinting and completely dead after each one. thats not good at all. at the rate i was doing them i should have been hitting at least 31. but o well. The sophomores are taking the CAHSEE today and tomorrow. so that means that we get minimum days for today and tomorrow. thats always good. i have to ace my next test and this quiz for wallin in order to bring my grade back up to a reasonable position. i CANNOT fail again this semester. today was eh. nothing fun or important. thats about it. o well. maybe tomorrow turns out more intersting. haha Fighting with trees, you're retarded.

Ok So here's the New Motto. Luis gave it to me and ive decided to adopt it as my new Motto. The one i was using previously for my training during the winter break was clean and simple, 'Somewhere in the world, someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.' Well now ive got a racing motto. Practice Hard. Race Even Harder!after that disappointing mile race, im gonna need to run a sub 4:55 at katella this weekend. and im not gonna be happy if i dont even get into the sub five group. This weekend is gonna be insanely fun. and im not gonna hold anything back, ill just have to go out there and race smarter. Im running for sure the Varsity 4X800M and 4X1600M. i wouls also like to runa third race, but ill check out how things are going later on this week. Damn it i stayed up till 3:10 AM finishing homework on sunday night, and i woke up at 7:30 to go to skool. it was boring, i turned in all assignments. ive decided to do all my homework from now on no matter what time it means i have to go to sleep. we finally did watertower the tneire way after the longest time. it was great. and a 300 sprint for a final kick in. today has been an ok day, but im just really exhausted. adios.

GOD DAMN IT!!!!I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS! i missed out on my chance to win a race and earn five Varsity Points!!! Heres the scoop. I was entered the run in the first heat of the Varsity 1600M which was seeded with runners who run a 4:55 ish mile. Well it turns out i missed final call for that race. And heres the worst part. THE RACE WAS WON IN A FREAKING 5:01!!!!!!!!!!!! Had i run that race i could have beaten that guy! I am not too happy about that race whatsoever. i still ran the mile. but in an amazingly slow time. Two months ago i ran faster than yesterday! Katella is gonna be the time for me. i told Coach Dollar to put me in a mile and two mile race if possible. but in as many Mile races. i have to break 4:55 next weekend, and ill definitely break that in two weeks against Mission. But here is the most hilarious part. I ran the 400M about an hour after the dissappointing mile race, and i actually ran a good time. 58.5! i beat my fastest time from last year. and i was still a little out of breath for that race. that i found to be a really great time. and i actually beat three people over all!! not bad for a miler who doesnt train for the 400. and yea it was Varsity. haha, that was the best. Well i had a long time till the 4x400 relay. so i just hung around with heather and jackie for most of the time. it was enjoyable. Now this is the greatest thing ever. im running the 4x400 relay, and this is still Varsity level.so most of these guys have been training for this event for a good 3/4 years. I DONT RUN THE 400 OR EVEN TRAIN FOR IT! somehow i managed to run a 57.0 for my split, and i was not too far off from what i believe is a mission guy. my 400's yesterday were really great for me being more of a miler than a sprinter. so that i was happy about. i was only disappointed in my mile. five months of training and it only payed off in the sprinting section. Kateall im going for under 4:55. I just have to!

well today went really good. it went by a lot faster than i had expected. auto design was over really quickly, and physics was a ton of fun. Math was actually quite unexpected. the test wasnt as hard as i had thought, but it doesnt mean i did good. i definitately did not do better than a 47% but ill have to make up for it with the next quiz next wednesday. i should get a perfect, but you never know. fifth period i came home. i had to get some papers signed, and then i ran back up to skool. i think i should have walked, cuz i spent forty mintues doing nothing. i took a little nap for like fifteen minutes out on the track. the workout was also pretty easy. four 1000's and two 300's. the final 200 meters in the 1000's were supposed to be a kick, so that made it even funner. i was dominating, even tho i was on the grass on the inside of tha track. well other than that its nothing else. tomorrow is gonna be even easier, since its a 2,4,6 day. the semester is coming ever so close to ending. and i cant wait till this saturday. i should be doing pretty ok in the meet. 5:05 and under and ill be satisified. hasta luego.

Well today was very mellow. i didnt do anything other than sign up for the job shadow day thing. i figure why not waste a day by going down to a local car dealership and spending the day there. Track was also very slow and boring today. We did 10 400's but we had to start at 15 seconds slower than race pace. 75 + 15 = 90! thats really slow. but like usual we cant keep pace and went faster. i think we ended up getting a 78. that wasnt good. well we had to reduce our times slowly after that. so we started at 90 and went down from that. our final three splits were really unexpected. it was supposed to go 74,72,70, but instead we went 72,71 and then dane did a 67 and i did a 71. that was not supposed to happen. but other than that it wasnt that great of a workout. well ive done nothing else that matters other than take a stupid little test. bye bye. check this out: "What Specific Sport Are You?"

Haha thats so true <-----. I found some other pics as well but ill post them up on my site. boy what a weekend. i recorded the Australian Grand Prix, but havent gotten around to watching it. I saw the qualifiying rounds, and that was great, both Soto and M. Schumacher didnt run their second quilifying lap. Ralf Schumacher was the first one to complete it. he ran a decent time. Kimi Raikkonen did really great. he got i believe the sixth spot, but as the race was about to start, something happened with his car, so they had to do a second renissance lap. that sucked cuz he had to start from the pit lane after everyone left. but he caught up to micheal schumacher, and stayed with him, up until the point that i saw. My personal opinion is that Raikkonen is THE guy whos gonna give Schumacher a run for his money this year. I tried to finish my Viper RT-10 next Gen model drawing, but only managed to get part way through the wheel design. i need to add shadowing effects by thiswednesday for zero period, or else i will fail that assignment. well i went to gym in the afternoon yesterday, and i basically did more weights. im starting to see a really good figure in my body, but i think ill have to cut down on weights to allow more distance speed. i think im starting get more sprinting speed, than distance speed, and thats not good. still im starting to like how my body looks like. Today i went to some hillside on Ortega Highway and had a get together with my family, its was fun, cuz there was hills and an offroad truck. and we also had mountain bikes there and there were intense trials. it was really kool. on the way i also happened to see: 1 Ferrari 360 Modena 2 NISSAN SKYLINE GTR R33 a Porsche 911 GT3 and a Lamborghini Miura. The skylines were the best. for those of you(basically everyone)the Nissan Skyline is a Japan Exclusive car. importing one is really rare. there are only 10 GTR R34's in the US and im not sure how many R33's. but to import a $30,000 into the US is roughly $90,000 after all legal crap and taxes. and their beasts. so seeing TWO none the less is a really amazing sight. and seeing them on the road not at carshows is what really counts. that was the highlight of my day. well skool tomorrow, and the final week of training before the meet this saturday. good bye.
