hey hey..well i don't think ne one remembers me..but yeah i went to the passion fashion show yesterday and it was reallly good! for all you who missed it, you missed out on a good one! well i really missed yfc a lot and im glad i went! hope to see u all again! love you and miss you guys! sheena

we all knew this day was comin... praise the Lord! how else can we thank the Lord? if you let me count the ways, we'd be on this email... a very long time. like st. john of the gospel said, no books or emails or anything of human expession can contain all the works the Lord as made. we'd like to think that there are no words of our making as well to express how much we love and thank the Lord for everything that He has given us this weekend, thus God gave us a new language: dance. just when we thought we couldn't dance anymore, we still moved. just when we thought we couldn't move another muscle, still we grooved. we couldn't truly tell just what the audience thought of our dancing, but we showed them what we know to be true: God is real, and alive, so precious that we'd go through fatigue, sleeplessness and conflict to show that He is real.
we sacrificed memorial day weekend, sleep, food, time and money to bring our fashion show to completion. this isn't the end of our giving -- God's work will only become more demanding and more challenging after mass evangelization like this. we won't always be on stage to dance, and we won't always be with people who will dance the same steps as we do. but we should always remember that without God calling each and every one of us by name, none of us would have danced for a packed st. catherine's gym on May 25, 2002. so make ready your heart, make ready your home, make ready yourself for the Lord of the universe, the Lord of the Dance is calling you: make ready the people of God! in Christ, yvonne



YFC LOVE

my brothers and sisters, i've been feeling a little inspiration here with Jesus and i feel i must express my conviction that YFC is so beautiful. i have had my ups and downtimes with YFC (wow, i am getting watery eyed now =`( but GOD is so beautiful, HE IS SO TRULY "LOVE" IN YFC. HE, JESUS, IS LOVE. there is this song that made me think of you guys, "My love is your love" by Whitney Houston and i thought of no one else but this community. Really, this is where most of us found our foundation in Christ. THis is the same community that we first knew what Christian Ice breakers, Christian Talent, Christian friends meant. I didnt have these things prior to YFC. God has truly blessed all of us with a gift, a gift of Him indeed Yes, active rates have decreased, people have lost some friendships. But there is HOPE. in the name of Love itself. at the next YFC meeting you go to, look around you. some of these people got your back, are willing to share your struggles with you. sometimes, other members and i reminisce about how YFC once was in the past, and we sometimes pray that God will bring YFC back to its "old days" but I believe Jesus will go many steps further, significantly exceed our expectations and make YFC a beautiful instrument to convert lives to Him.
There are two, ONLY TWO commandments Jesus gave us. the first, "Love God with everything" is pretty much understood. the second is, "Love your neighbor as yourself." He urges us to fulfill this and find more ways everyday, seeking opportunities to love people. Randomly calling people, chatting with some shy members at meetings, giving hugs of love, fasting/praying for those whom you find difficult to love, praying and fasting for those who slander you... You know, St Therese once said something along "God doesn't ask us to do great things, but only little things with great love." truly, by the end of this year, this SUMMER even, if we approach each and every member as they truly are, JESUS IN DISGUISE, we shall RISE VICTORIOUS once again. sometimes i hear, "man our worships used to be so hyped, people used to jump, sing louder than they do... etc... i miss those times.." but i believe a truly "hype" worship is one done in Love, both with God and with each and every member both present and not present at meetings. three things i believe has hindered us from growing: 1) gossip 2) cynicism, 3) pride. But Love heals, Love dispells all three. picture LOVE takign over YFC in everything we do. picture how people will get a tangible experience of God without even attending a retreat. it's truly possible. at Leader retreats, EXERT's, etc we always express ideas how to "evangelize" increase our attendance, etc. BUT what about totally focusing on LOVING each other and believing that active rates, evangelization will follow.
IMAGINE upon reaching heaven, at the gates with Jesus and His angels and saints behind Him. looking at the ministry of YFC. I believe JESUS will not ask "was your music ministry the best." He Will NOT ask, "did you guys have the best speakers" NOT ASK, "was the attendance always 100%" but I BELIEVE that OUR JESUS, will ask "DID YOU LOVE ONE ANOTHER?" LOVE conquers all, LOVE heals broken relationships, LOVE takes all the wrong that has happened in the past and throws it into the ocean of Mercy called Jesus. below are the lyrics to that song "My love is your love" read it with me. download it too. and reflect on the GOOD, remember the GOOD in YFC. the bad will come and go, but the good, the Love will always remain...

goodbye my loves! i think just cuz of how we chilled and bonded these past weeks cuz of fashion show. which might i add was the dopest time ever saturday! praise God.. praise HIM really.. wow praise u Jesus! u are so good! i love u! what a blessing what a victory, i am so proud of everyone. my heart is so full of love for all of u. i love u all so much. it just makes me happy to see everyone.... in love with God... having fun with each other in His presence...youth with beautiful hearts and who have beautiful love for our God... i'm so proud... i'm so inspired... this is what this community is about... i pray for this continued growth for all of us together as a family. continue it guys... i believe that we will continue it... because of HIS goodness... remember guys... this fashion show was only a success if you personally feel deeper in love with HIM through it. wow, i know i did, this guy's got my heart......... man..... and never fails to win it even more... haha... dang i'm corny... anyway u know what imean peace, grace
