Apparently the band, Lapis Lazuli, who played the music for the home console version of Guilty Gear X were inspired to do a few songs based on the Guilty Gear world. With these 3 CDs they created vocal versions of some of the characters' themes, as well as composing their own to add to the mix.

As for how the vocal versions of the character themes go, they have a good idea of how to arrange some of the melodies so that they'll be more easily sung, and what's better just left played (I especially enjoyed their version of "Awe of She", and "Burly Heart").

As for their own compositions, I didn't really feel to strongly about them. I think they're good, but I just can't seem to get into them.

Also, beware of falling "Engrish" ("You are the stupid gun! I'll get a naked eye!" "Get fighting out!")

Overall, I think these CDs are worth a listen.
