Red-necked Keelback (Rhabdophis subminiatus subminiatus); this snake was found outside our cave, we caught it by hand, only to find out later that it was venomous and if bitten we would have had "severe symptoms
common house Gecko
Common House Gecko (Hemidactylus frenatus); these little guys are found all over the place (including our flat).
Common/asian Toad
Common Asian Toad (Bufo melanostictus); the most commonly found amphibian in this area, these toads are found all over the place and flat all over the roads
Common Bullfrog
Common Bullfrog (Kaloula pulchra); another photo of this relatively common amphibian
Puff-faced Water Snake
Puff-faced Water Snake (Homalopsis buccata); we found this fair sized snake on Dunc's birthday (nice birthday present), it was at the side of the road next to the small stream near our flat
Puff-faced Water Snake Juvenille
The same species as the previous photograph, however this is a juvenille, it was found on the road near the other adult snake
Gecko on a Beer Bottle
One of our friendly little house gecko caught in the act of trying to steal our beer (foolish gecko, if there had been any left in it Dunc would not have left it lying around!)

Common Pond Frog (Rana erythraea): this colourful little frog was found basking on the water plants in one of the small ponds outside the biology department at the uni.
