Unknown bat, our boss knows what it is but we have both forgotten, only caught it once! |
This is Stoner, one of our one time pet bats, he is the species that we study out here, he wasn't with us long, the ants got him. |

A caterpillar or it could be one of Liam Gallagher's eyebrows? |
Spiny-tailed House Gekko (Hemidactylus frenatus): This little fella's are all over the place, though they do take some catching! |
This is Loser, our other pet bat, he was rather more succesful as he lived for 2 weeks with us and managed to learn to fly in our flat during that time. Most of the time though he would hang on the curtains while we watched TV, but occasionally treated us to a flying display (which usually ended up with a crashing display) |
Loser about to take off, and probably fly into the TV or the shower! |
Common Tree Frog again (you can tell why they are called common)! |
Cave Dwelling Snake (Elaphe taeniura ridleyi): This snake is the one we encounter most often, as they live in our bat caves, rather attractive for snakes that spend most of the time in the dark! |
Another view of the Cave Dwelling snake |
