Mouseion
Mouseion was created as the final product of a semester of work for the T.I.M.E. sophomore elective. It was displayed in the student lounge of the Gund building February 4-8. It is an interactive installation paying homage to the Muses, Greek godesses of inspiration for the literary arts and sciences. Housed in a traditional Greek inspired temple and accompanied by a musical invocation, the digital interface leads the viewer through a ritual offering to receive inspiration in the form of nine short movies. The movies pair images with the words of authors and poets, the Muses' favored artists, to create a unique vision of each Muse's domain.
