The temple was inspired by traditonal Greek architecture. Two entrance is guarded by two sphinxes; the Sphinx encountered by Oedipus was a disciple of the Muses and learned its riddle from them. The monitor for the digital interface was housed in the floor of the temple to suggest an offeratory pool that might be found in a temple to the Muses. The interface was designed to reflect the libations of water, milk or honey that were sacrificed to the Muses.
