Main  Introduction:

Fossils fuel is prehistoric material, which was formed by rotting vegetation and dead animals being crushed by layers of soil and rock laid on them. Since fossil fuel is an ancient source of energy, it is not renewable and therefore finite. Fossil fuels consist of several different fuels, including coal, gas and oil. All of these fuels will cease to exist sooner or later, many of them extremely soon when compared to the time that humanity will still exist. Fossil fuel is the world most popular source of energy at the moment and they are most commonly used to fuel vehicles. Other familiar uses would include making electricity, petrochemical industry, and energy for domestic purposes. There are several problems, which humanity is- and will be confronted with because of the burning of fossil fuels, such as human health problems caused by air pollution from the burning of coal and oil, harm to land from coal mining and to miners from black lung disease, environmental damage caused by global warming, acid rain, water pollution, and oil spill accidents.

How can individuals and local communities contribute to the struggle for independence of fossil fuels? + Conclusion
