Basketball Drills

Here are some drills that you might have used in practice:

Shooting Drills
VCuts- You start on one side of the line in the key and run up and pop out, you recieve the ball and make a quick jump shot
Baseline- You shoot from the baseline
Free throws- practice free throws


Dribblin
Speed Dribbling- You dribble as fast as you can to the half court and back, or all the way.
Slow dribbling- Dribble usually with your weak hand below the knees all the way to half court and back or full court and back.
Crossover- You go a direction and cross to the other till you get to half court or full court and come back the same way

Running
3n30s- Run full court back and forth 3 times within 30 seconds.
6n60s- same as above
9n90s- Usually punishment, but 9 times back and forth within 90 seconds
Team jog- You jog in one line with the team around the court usually for 15 minutes
Speed dribbles

Excersisses
Defensive stance- You go on defensive stance and slide to the side.
Team Push ups- As a team you both go up and down by the coaches count
Wall push ups- Stand next to the wall and put both hands agaisnt it, then go down and do a push up and get back to the wall again (Very Tiring)
Frog jumps- You jump like a frog from one side of the court to the other
Lunges- Take big steps with you back knee touch the ground
