Jon originally bought this car as the stock dark green 1.8 litre GLXi model. Jon then added the EVO4 front bar, a pair of EVO3 sideskirts, a set of big wheels and an aftermarket exhaust. It didn't take long before Jon decided to go for a colour change and ended up with the eye catching example you see here. In January 2003, he bit the bullet and converted to the All Wheel Drive and VR4 2 litre Turbo package. Secrecy surrounded the modifications for a few months until May 2003 when the car finally hit the streets again. These mods brought with it the change of number plates from JON-18T to 2NIL8U. 2NIL8U now runs an Autronic ECU running a Garrett GT35/40 Roller bearing turbo, custom intake plenum, custom intercooler, larger injectors and an external wastegate. Jon's next plan is to upgrade the internals to extract more out of the setup. By the looks of things this is going to be one awesome weapon. He has already pulled just over 250kw at all four wheels without the forged internals, upgraded camshafts and high boost!!!
