And the beat goes on...
It's been 15 days since I last wrote... been VERY busy... I was acting supervisor for the last 2 weeks and now I'm back to being a pee-on... this is GREAT!

They're trying to convince me to re-enlist for Korea... it's a BIG bonus ($27342 for 3 years) under the AIP (if I go to Korea for 2 years it's an extra $300 a month) which equals $34542 extra pay for what's ACTUALLY 2 years longer

I have to think and pray hard on that one.

I pinned on my rank today. Boy does it SUCK like a Hoover Handy Vac. I have to be the acting leader for my group because the actual leader is in a class for the next two weeks. Did he tell ME he was going to be gone? HECK NO!

Whoever said that "Rank has it's privileges" SUCKS!

Promotions are GOOOOD!
Ok... so I'm FINALLY getting promoted. I'll try to get someone to take pictures of the P-A-R-T-Y, when I have one. If you want to see the army promotion list that has my name on it, go to this link By Name List and click on "To Staff Sergeant" then find my name on the list.

So you want join the army...
The people that I work for are trying their damnedest to keep me in. they're working right now to try to get a job change because I LOTHE the work I'm doing or better put, what I'm supposed to be doing but can't because I have to train others to do my job. I just want to do something else. Is that too much to ask?

On another note, I purchased the rolly-bed and the night stand. I had to build the night stand myself. It was from a kit, of course, but it has tracks that you have to screw on and everything. I'm pretty good at following directions but I've never put together one of these things before. It looks AWESOME! You?d never guess that it was from a kit, unless you saw the box I threw away today.

Not much to say. My house is finally all unpacked and put sort of in order. I'm getting a roll-away-bed on Thursday for the "second bedroom". I was going to just put the full sized air mattress in there, but it's too wide. Imagine that, it's too wide for the "second bedroom"! That's how small that room is. I think I can get a twin (aka single) roll away to fit in there and hopefully a night stand. That way, if I ever have a guest, they'll have a bed to sleep on.

And then there were none...
Mood:  a-ok
Topic: Guinea Piggies
I'm kind of sad but alright with the fact that I had to give up my piggies. The docs determined that I had a very severe allergy to them. I gave the piggies to 2 very nice families. Bunny and Lily went to a family in Darmstadt and the other 4 (Chubby Boy, Hopper and the twins) went to a family in Wiesbaden. Both families have children, so I know that the piggies will be handled a lot more then I was able to. The family from Darmstadt already had a couple of piggies. One was a year and a half and the other was about 5. They originally had 4 but 2 of their piggies got sick and died. So when they saw my ad for FREE GUINEA PIGS, they jumped on the internet and they rest was history. The Wiesbaden family had piggies before their sons were born and thought their 2 boys would "...get a kick out of the funny noises they make." Their boys saw the piggies and their eyes just lit up like it was Christmas in July. They were bouncing up and down saying "tank you, tank you!" (The boys couldn't be older than 3 and 5.) Thank you to the families that gave my piggies homes. You saved them from going to the creepy lab lady that contacted me the day I submitted the ad. So all in all, the piggies have new homes with loving families and I can breathe again.

Poems... again...
i can't decided if this is two or three poems but anywho... enjoy...

You are my need,
my wild moon.
i want to have music
in my life.
you talk love to me
and i knowingly...laugh

my awesome night reads
of running stars
and i always whisper
my secrets to forget

dance now if there is time.
oh no!
walk sometimes my friend.
you're whatever you will be
crazy if i cry
