Topic: Guinea Piggies
I'm kind of sad but alright with the fact that I had to give up my piggies. The docs determined that I had a very severe allergy to them. I gave the piggies to 2 very nice families. Bunny and Lily went to a family in Darmstadt and the other 4 (Chubby Boy, Hopper and the twins) went to a family in Wiesbaden. Both families have children, so I know that the piggies will be handled a lot more then I was able to. The family from Darmstadt already had a couple of piggies. One was a year and a half and the other was about 5. They originally had 4 but 2 of their piggies got sick and died. So when they saw my ad for FREE GUINEA PIGS, they jumped on the internet and they rest was history. The Wiesbaden family had piggies before their sons were born and thought their 2 boys would "...get a kick out of the funny noises they make." Their boys saw the piggies and their eyes just lit up like it was Christmas in July. They were bouncing up and down saying "tank you, tank you!" (The boys couldn't be older than 3 and 5.) Thank you to the families that gave my piggies homes. You saved them from going to the creepy lab lady that contacted me the day I submitted the ad. So all in all, the piggies have new homes with loving families and I can breathe again.

Topic: Guinea Piggies
Ok for all you who know me, you know that I was given 2 guinea pigs from a friend of mine back in February. Well it turned out that one was a female and "infested". On 27 Feb she had 2 of the cutest, sweetest, most loving babies I've ever seen. I took the babies to a pet store here in Germany to have them "sexed". They told me that one was a boy and the other a girl. I moved the boy out of the mom's cage and into the dad's cage 3 weeks after they were born because male piggies are sexually mature by 3 weeks and female by 4. It turned out that "Hopper the boy baby" was a girl. I am now the proud GRANDMA of 2 MORE baby piggies. Anyone want a Guinea Pig?
