FAQ for Online Courses
Question : How do we ask questions or clear doubts that we may have ?
Answer : A special email account has been set up for this purpose. Students are free to email any questions they may have through this email account.

Question : Who should take up your courses ?
Answer : Courses are designed for beginners to intermediate users wanting to gain a solid foundation in Feng Shui. Professionals from industries such as Real Estate, Architects, Interior Designers, Managers, Home Owners, Feng Shui Practioners.

Question : How long does it take for us to complete courses ?
Answer : Usually 4 weeks for short courses and 3 months for longer ones. The 'Homes and Gardens' and 'Chinese Astrology' course takes only 4 weeks (no pre-requisites required) while 'Applied Feng Shui (Part I to III)' would take approximately 3 months. However, you can complete your courses at your own pace. No time restriction is being imposed on our students .

Question : Why are your course fees so low ?
Answer : Our fees are kept low in line with our Centre's mission of spreading the profound values and benefits of Feng Shui to as many interested parties as possible. You must have been comparing a few other Feng Shui Centres. It is true our fees are very low but that does not mean we compromise in our standard of correspondence and learning materials.

Question : Is it necessary to take all 3 courses for your 'Applied Feng Shui' Course ?
Answer : Yes, we strongly recommend that students who are serious about gaining a deeper understanding of Feng Shui to undertake all 3 courses (Parts I, II, III) as each course builds upon the other. Moreoever, Feng Shui Gate Geomancy Centre is very stringent about pre-requisite criteria for any course, other than 'Homes and Gardens' course. For example : Students are not allowed to take on Applied Feng Shui Part III unless they have proof (by means of certificates or diplomas) that they have gained sufficient knowledge of the subject from a reputable Feng Shui School of Thought. Only then will we allow an exemption.

Question : Where and how soon can I access my course materials from ?
Answer : As soon as payment has been confirmed, students will receive an email from us containing a username and password. Under our 'Students Log In Area' , key in this username and password and you will be able to access your course materials immediately.

Question : Do you mail course materials to your students ?
Answer : Yes, we do ! We can mail course materials for an extra US$20 on top of course fees.

Question : Do we have to take any exams at the end of each course ?
Answer : Yes. Students have to sit for an exam consisting of Multiple Choice Questions or Open-Ended Questions, depending on module, to ascertain that each student meets the high standards of our Centre. Only students who pass our exams will be issued the Certificate. In addition, self-review questions (to review your understanding of topics) can be found at the end of each week. Send us an email once you are ready to sit for your exam.

Question : What happens if we fail the exam ?
Answer : Should any student fail, he or she is allowed to sit for another exam at US$50. This fee is standard for all course types. Students may take as many exams as they want, in order to obtain the Certificate due for respective course or courses.

Question : What format would learning materials be in ?
Answer : They are stored on our web site for online viewing and learning but can be printed out easily in Word format.

Question : What forms of payment do you accept ?
Answer : We accept credit cards (click on paypal link), money orders, direct deposits. Wholesale items from our store are strictly by direct deposits, money orders or bank drafts only.

Question : What would I need to view or print course materials ?
Answer : All you need is a Web Browser (ie Internet Explorer / Netscape) .

Question : Are course fees refundable in part or in full ?
Answer : As stated in our 'refund policy', we do not allow refunds (full or partial) for any of our courses or consultation services.

Question : Are we guaranteed a Certificate from Feng Shui Gate Geomancy Centre upon completion of your course ?
Answer : Yes, only upon successful completion of your course. You will have to request for the certificate. The certificate will be prepared and sent out (please allow 3-8 weeks including postal delivery). All Certificates bear the seal of Feng Shui Gate Geomancy Centre.
