I once performed an on-site analysis for one of my clients and was astounded by the use of green color in their kitchen setting (see first picture above). This color had a negative effect on the occupants of the house. The original combination of green and white was too stimulating and harsh. The over abundance of green and white stimulated the liver, causing those that cooked there(mainly the wife of the house) to be easily irritable. The couple had a stressful marriage which affected their 2 teenaged children. I advised on the color Yellow instead, as it is a solar plexus and grounding color, which is more conducive to cooking and nurturing. Adding a gentle yellow color added to the Earth element. See the difference in second photo above ! I did a review on the same family 3 months later, and both husband and wife agreed that they've never enjoyed meals together as much as they've done now ! Just one example of Feng Shui in action !
