Power Supply Unit "PSU"

The power supply of the computer is one of the most important components. A faulty power supply unit AKA "PSU" can and will lead to unexplainable restarting of the computer, overheating parts, and put an enormous strain on the computer. Make sure to invest in a good PSU.

To ensure your computer investment won't go down the drain or be limited by power restrictions, get a 400w power supply. The 400w is generally more power than you'll need, BUT you'll never run short of power, and never have fluctuations. A good rule of thumb of telling if you have a good power supply is to pick it up and feel how heavy it is: Heavy = Good, Light = Crap. Compare power supplies by their warranties and how much they weigh. Follow these tips and you'll never run into PSU problems again.
