Bloodstorm

The above picture was taken from the GOREZONE.

I finally was able to watch the Bloodstorm DVD, so like..here's a little review of it.

There are 18 different scenes that you can select to view. These scenes are labeled:

Besides the movie's normal soundtrack, you can also choose to listen to either Ted Nicolaou or Denice Duff discuss the movie while you watch it. This is a really great feature and really adds alot to the movie after you've seen the normal version a few hundred times. Ted's commentary is very insightful as to the technical aspects of making the movie, and how things came out compared to the original vision. Denice try's to give the listener a little idea of what the actors are like, and is also good for the occasional chuckle.

The last menu on the DVD is the Special Features, which contains:

Well..that's basically what's on the DVD. Don't take the following wrong..I am NOT complaining..this is a great DVD and is well worth the purchase if you have access to a DVD player..but there is a few little things I feel could have been added. First off I would have liked the trailers for the previous Subspecies and Vampire Journals to be included, if for nothing more then to show people that might have missed the movies (shame of them!) what they were like. An option to listen to the full soundtrack would also have been welcome. As it stands, you can listen to parts of it uninterupted if you stay on a certain area of the menu, but not the pieces in their entirety (and is currently driving me crazy with the way it loops..excuse me for a second :) And the biography section could have been more elaborate with the actors' pasts..either that or renamed to Filmography or something like that.
