[Dr. Han] Hello, I am Dr. Han. I will be the one continuing this interview...Now, you said that the asura changed shape?
[FSz] No, he had transfered his soul into another body, one that was a companion during the previous year, Mirage.
[Han] How did it feel to see a friend possessed by a demon?
[FSz] I felt the same for him as I had for Angelo and Sarah. If Raj needed freedom, I would help him obtain it.
[Han] What did the asura do?
[FSz] He immediately contacted the Hollow One, Myrant, the curio dealer. He knew that an Assamite vampire named Zulfi weilded a piece of the asura's soul as a weapon. Zulfi also once carried a similar ancient krys that merely called itself "death."
[Han] Did you seek out this Zulfi?
[FSz] While the others pondered that task, I set out to find the "Red Sign" that Dances with Blood used to lure vampires to his ambushes. The answer came to me in a dream, and it was in the old burned out Chantry.
[Han] Why was the book so important?
[FSz] I was convinced that the book would be the vampires' salvation. Imagine hundreds, even thousands, of karmic cycles halted by the curse of vampirism, returned to the world. That alone would repair the damage of the Great Wheel.
[Han] Did the others agree to your interpretation?
[FSz] The only objector was the asura. He believed that the "curse of Cain" was a judgement by God, and not to be tampered with. But how could a judgement upon one man be passed down the generations to those not deserving of that Fate?
[Han] So what did you do?
[FSz] We ran. At the moment, all that was paramount was the translation of the tome, because we knew that we were being hunted. First, Zulfi attacked us but mysteriously vanished, and then Brynn Origai was attacked and we pulled her through the teleport cards from Sanka Coffee to relative safety. The wilderness vampire herself informed us of the hunt.
[Han] With such a dangerous object, were you concerned of the danger?
[FSz] For my personal safety? No. For Nicholas? He choose to translate the book. For Qwerty? He could vanish at any time he wished. And for the asura...
[Han] What are you thinking?
[FSz] On one hand, he released the bond between us. On the other, he drained Nicolas of power to save his own existence, jeopardizing Nicolas' sanity. Would he feel remorse?
