My summer is over as soon as I go to bed tonight. I'll even have to go find my alarm clock and plug it back in. Damn.

I'm gonna go find some guitar tabs on the internet, and continue sporatically teaching myself :-)

Destroying the peace in SC, one town at a time :-P
I'm about to head out and go down to spend the night with my friend Ali. muahaha.

Meg and I went to Goodwill today, only to find that there was nothing to find. We went to Rugged Warehouse too, and bought some really ridiculous shoes :-D Woot to that!

I didn't update yesterday either, did I? hmm... I went to see Tomb Raider with Stern last night (it was too late to call anybody else to go along) and all I have to say about that is GAPING PLOT HOLES!! psh. Hollywood is so full of shit.

Warning: do not read unless you have seen Tomb Raider 2
Seriously, why did she bother going all the way to Africa and leading the bad guys there so she could just leave the box? Wasn't her mission to retrieve it and turn it over to the British government before the other guys got it? psh. If it had been at all realistic they just would have destroyed the orb as soon as they got it so that the box could never be found. Also, why was she so fucking distressed about killing Terry? She didn't love him, that was pretty evident throughout the movie. What a load. I hate movies like that.

Put on a shirt before you poke somebody's eye out!!
Good times, good times. Meg and I went to see Sinbad- there were many many sexual innuendos. muaha.

May it be known that I'm bummed that Lisa and Alex are rooming together- with only each other (so I heard). Yay for bonding, but don't shut yourselves out! I don't want to go a whole week without you two cool gals nearby :-) Can you say massages?!? Promise you'll be hanging out with everyone else plenty, too? lol, thought I'd be open about it and ask.

Mreh! I just got back from the ortho. It was gross- they did molds and stuff. All I can taste is plaster. I was hoping I'd get my retainer in a week or less, but because of band I won't get it until three weeks from now. That means I have to wear the finishing appliance of death until then :-(

Yesterday was interesting; I cleaned out my closet and dresser, and now have half as much clothing as I did, lol. We ate lunch/dinner (linner?) at Tony Roma's and looked at Sean's europe pictures and sich. Later Sean and I walked to Blockbuster and rented gangs of new york. Right after we watched it, I could have written pages on how disgusting humans are- 16 hours later, that passion has dissolved. If you ever want to lose faith in humanity, watch it.

So instead of going to bed I went upstairs and watched Southpark and Reno 911. It was the first episode of the latter- pretty funny. Okay, kinda funny. I liked the bit, "Hey now, be nice. I mean, she is an unfortunate looking woman..."

I tried to sleep after that (at 1ish), but after an hour of lying in bed and getting very pissed off at my CD player for not playing a burned CD and still not being able to sleep, I went back and flipped channels. I ended up landing on the Disney Channel, and watching the final episode of Boy Meets World. I almost cried, it was soo pathetic. I had watched the next-to-last one the night before... Every girl needs a guy like Corey. That's soo unfair. I watched the Travel Channel until like 3:30, then finally went to sleep.

There's no point to this entry. There's no point to any of my entries. I do have to say, though, that nobody ever comments!! bleh.

I have this desperate feeling about the end of summer- I want to catch it and hold it forever but it's ever fleeting. I don't know if I can stand three more years. Some people get their kicks out of school, but it bores me to death... Argh! I wanna finally break out of this mind-numbing cycle.

One too many surveys.
[You and Others]

-- Are you special? mmhhmmmm
-- If yes, what makes you special? I couldn't tell you...
-- What attracts you to the opposite (or same) sex? emotionally, I'd say a great sense of humor and openness about stuff. physically, nice arms/abs/teeth :-)
-- What do you think makes you appeal to others? psh, who knows.
-- Exactly what makes a person attractive? being themselves- I dunno. It's different for everyone.
-- Do you feel comfortable in crowds? of course
-- Do you feel comfortable being touched (Hugged etc) by other people? yeah- I'm more of a physical person than a verbal person.
-- Do you feel comfortable sharing possessions with others? yeah, for the most part- youngest child, you know how that goes.
-- Do you feel comfortable trusting others? mmm... lots of stuff I don't trust other people to do right, but a few people I trust with secrets and sich.
-- Who, or what, has been the biggest positive influence on your life? my brother/sister
-- Who, or what, has been the biggest negative influence on your life? ick- i dunno. The Media, I guess.
-- Who has been the greatest support to you? all my friends, and my parents. They are always quick to say they would be there for me if I needed it :-P
-- Who has been a hindrance or annoyance in your life? myself- ie, my intensely jealous personality
-- Do you find it easy to admit your wrong? not usually.
-- Do you find it easy to apologize? usually, but that doesn't always mean I'm sincere about it.

[Recent Things]

-- What was the last dream you remember? last night I had one that I don't really remember much of. I think it involved a rabbit.
-- What do you think that dream was trying to tell you? I'm insane.
-- What was the last thing you said to someone? good luck
-- And the purpose for saying it? Sean was going to an appointment to get his eyes fixed, lol
-- What was the last good deed you did for someone? i helped this old lady that ran into the caribou call her rental car company
-- What was the last bad turn you did for someone? psh, I dunno.
-- When was the last time you smiled? a couple hours ago
-- Why did you smile? Sean was telling funny Europe stories
-- Who was the last friend you spoke to? Lisa
-- What do you think of that friend? She's the coolest evAr! Yay for sweeds.
-- How do you feel now? failed. and longing.

[Reactions]

How do you react to:

A couple being affectionate together: whatever cranks their tractors.
A homosexual couple being affectionate together: I say good for them for not being scared of what society thinks.
A sex scene on TV/Film: with friends: joke about it, with parents: go get a sandwich to strategically be out of the room and avoid any lecturing.
A person in tears before you: i try to comfort them, unless I think it's a stupid reason to be upset
Someone being bullied/attacked: i usually step out of the way.
A tragedy or accident in the News: depends- I hate the media with a burning passion, so I get pissed off if it seems like their exaggerating it. If it really is tragic, I get a bit upset- not a whole lot.
Some scandal on someone famous/important in the News: I say FUCK YOU MEDIA! What people do in their own time is none of the world's business. Like with Bill Clinton, what president hadn't had a mistress? The media of back-in-the-day didn't fuck in people's personal lives; they even tried to cover it up.
Charity advertisements (TV or otherwise): rip-off.
Praise from friends/loved ones: unless its from my parents, it makes me feel pretty good :-D
Insults from friends/loved ones: i let it roll off my back
Praise from strangers: i say thanks, and try to say something in return
Insults from strangers: i assume that they're yankees.

[Opportunity]

If the opportunity came, would you sooner:

Travel to see a long lost old best friend, or a loved one: long lost best friend
Go out partying all night or stay in at home: party :-D
Move to live in a new city, or live where you were raised: NEW CITY- I'm all about getting to start over. I mean, of course, after I'm out of school.
Date a celebrity, or stick with what you know: Stick with what I know. I don't wanna be on the cover of national enquirer making out with ashton kutcher behind a minimart.
Start a career in music or within acting: acting sounds more fun, but I have some musical talent... hmm... I guess acting.
Become rich or famous: rich. definitely. I couldn't stand being in the public eye all the time- you're just there so people can judge you if you're famous.
Live within a large house or small apartment: large house, so I can decorate it all!
Marry young and live happily ever after, or have multiple fun flings forever: mmm... fun flings. I get bored, what can I say?
Become known for famous or infamous deeds: famous- no evil plots for me.

[Song Section]

Name a song that reminds you of :

Friendship: it's about time- lillix
Happiness:
Love: hands down- dashboard confessional [I've had that stuck in my head for like three days]
Lust/sex: your body is a wonderland- john mayor
Excitement: ???
Anger: Sum 41- fat lip
Hate: You're a mean on, Mr Grinch :-D
Revenge: Enimen- Without Me [yeah, I know, doesn't make much sense]
Worry/Anxiety: Kodachrome- Paul Simon [couldn't tell you why, it just does]
Depression: John Mayer- Comfortable
Death: ???
Life: the remedy- jason mraz

And a song that:

Cheers you up: bliss- alice peacock
Makes you depressed: say it aint so- weezer [though I don't know why]
You dance to: psh. I dunno, lots of stuff.
You play whilst travelling: No one song will do.
Reminds you of a loved one: :-X
Reminds you of yourself: Again I Go Unnoticed- Dashboard Confessional [just the story of my life, ain't it?]

[The Future]

What are you going to do after this? go find some food, then maybe call someone to go to the pool with me.
What are you going to do tomorrow? umm... Enjoy my last truly free day this summer.
What are your plans for the next five years? graduate, go to college, maybe take a year off to see europe
What do you honestly think will happen in another five years? exactly that!
Have you changed within the past five years? So much you wouldn't believe it
Do you think you'll change within another five years? of course. maybe someday i'll be emotionally mature!
What career did you want as a child? meteorologist!
What career do you want now? i dunno. mechanical engineer.
Do you want to live to be 100? as long as I'm not senile. If I can't live as fully as I like, I don't think I'd want to at all.
Do you believe in life after death or reincarnation? nope- sorry to offend.

[Finally]

What do you want now? human contact.
How are you going to get/do it? call someone.
What question do you wish you were asked? mmm.... no comment.
How would you answer that question? reserving judgement.

Man, this sucks.
I had to babysit for the children from hell. Bleh. Even better, I got to do it at the pool. I really only do it because the mom is so cool and because I need money, but it so isn't worth it. I don't know how I'll be able to stand having my own kids.

'Twas ironic/funny, yesterday Chris was trying to talk me into going to the airport to pick up my bro who just got back from Europe (seeing as he was gonna be there about the same time to leave for Europe), but I couldn't cause I had this damn babysitting job. I really really would have wanted to go pick up Sean anyway, but it turns out they actually stopped and talked to Chris and his family. Psh.

So I missed getting to talk to my brother (he was asleep when I got home) and all that jazz.

Summer's coming to a close- five more days of freedom. Actually, I have to help move my sister to Charlotte on Saturday so it's more like 4. Ack!

Man, this sucks.
