John's Thought of the Day
December 26,2000.

In a state of wonder there is no shortage of ideas.

There are no pointless questions.

Not knowing is sufficient reason for a question.

Having an unanswerable question

is a sacred experience though.

It is the doorway to that wonder.

Then ideas, answers flow freely like spring rain,

nurturing the seeker

whose questions come from love of truth.

Why do we love truth so much?

I'm wondering.

Answers suggest themselves, offer themselves to me.

Each idea is a building block

in a great temple yet to be completed.

I am an archeologist reconstructing an ancient city,

a dreamer building a castle in the sky.
