11/28/04: Well Kids, it's true. We're done. At least for now. To be honest the idea occured to me a month ago that we were both too freakin lazy to continue like we used to. I actually wanted to have one final comic where everybody dies (especially Morgan, he was gonna die twice.) Matt didnt really seem to mind the idea but of course it didnt end up happening because when I'm not busy I'm lazy and when Matts not busy he's lazy (or off doing naughty things with Amy, although I'm pretty sure that counts as "busy") So, anyways, for the time being MATT AND MOCLE ARE AS DEAD AS ELVIS . Although, one final word to all the fans that stuck it out with us through the good times (everything except for "rejected") and the bad times (...rejected sucked...) 11/28/04: *Ahem, taps microphone* Is this thing on? Well, even if it isn't and no one ever hears this, MATT AND MOCLE ARE DEAD. Ok, that's unofficial. But neither Mocle nor I have really shown any interest in continuing this site. Mocle is too busy working on Bat Boy: The Musical, and I've been up to my ears in work at Friendly's (You bet we aren't!) and other endeavors (to get the basic idea, go here). The reason I am updating is because in the past week I have heard the following two things.

1. Update your site! Make a new comic! OMFG!

2. I hate you! You deleted me from the website!

In response to both, 1. like I said, Mocle and I have no real interest in making a comic right now. It's kinda like SOTAR. It should be updated and continued, but it isn't because Boddah or whoever draws the comic is a lazy bumfuck. Damn you Boddah, update your god damn site!!!!!! And 2. I followed up the alleged claims that someone was taken off the site and found not that no, no one was taken off the site, but some files were missing in our archives thus making pictures not coming up for four different characters. No one who has ever appeared in Matt and Mocle has ever been taken off the site in spite of any fued. Characters have just been retired. I have personally fixed all characters (although I unfortunately could not find the design Josh Kirby did of Alex Roseman that was excessively more accurate than mine (since I was lazy the day I designed him), so the crappy version of Roseman is in the retired section) by re-adding all of them to the latest archive. So there, no one has ever been removed. We may have failed to put a character into a section on the cast page after a comic, but that's because Mocle and I are idiots.

So there you have it folks. This will be the last update for a long time on this website until Mocle or I get off our ass to do some work. I was considering making a comic the other day entitled "Matt and Mocle are dead" but then lost all motivation about a second after the thought popped in my head. Mocle might update with his (temp) goodbye later, I don't know. I highly doubt anyone will ever see this. Mazel tov and a hag sameach to all that do. I, myself, am getting ready for my last day of work and waiting for a phone call while listening to The Artist In The Ambulance (the latest Thrice release you should pick up if you haven't allready). We were going to release this awesome Vegan Revolution comic on you, but we only ended up making one part to it... now known as The Lost Comic. You can find it in the Random Comics section. But yeah. 04/04/04: It's true, I DID see The Distillers tonight and Brody WAS hot (oh man, you shoulda seen it...) but anyway, I wanna say a few words about the new comic, The All New, All Different, Matt And Mocle Comics!, since for once, Matt wasnt the driving force behind one of our comics, this one was my idea. See, I realized that in the few short months we've been on this little comic adventure of ours (4 and counting) we've introduced close to sixty-five charactors, many of which only had tiny cameos. no defining moments, no funny lines (if they HAD any lines at all) and I decided, hey, we need to flesh out our charactors a little more. So then the challenge of HOW was all that remained. The idea for replacing Matt and Mocle temporarily is basically an often used plot device in the Comic BOOK world, when the heroes take a step back and let some of the lesser used charactors take their place in the spotlight for a while. While that plot device usually leads to bad stories in the comic BOOK world, I think it turned out well in OUR comic world. So go read it, love it, and continue coming back for more of the same MattMocley goodness.Also, To the real life people who'se charactors got a little more screen time, I hope you enjoyed it (since it aint happening again any time soon :-P) and for the few who didnt, well, theres always the future. Rock On Everybody. ~Mocle.

04/04/04: What a sweet fucking day. At any rate, there's a new series up for all you kids entitled The All New, All Different, Matt And Mocle Comics! It's pretty good, we both like it. Mocle saw the Distillers tonight and says Brody was pretty hott. I told him he shoulda tapped that ass. And me? Who cares what I did tonight. It was good though, trust me. So enjoy the new comic.
