Yusuke and co. keep disappearing and reappearing through these spirit portals called usagi holes. In the holes, they are forced to battle a group of oni thugs.

Cat and Yusuke have to battle Umi and Duo to put an end to this foolishness the crew's been through.

    Chapter twenty-one: Grandma's Birthday
Cat invites Yusuke to join her and her family on her grandmother's birthday.

Yusuke, Botan, and Ayame have to head down to hell to kill the demon that's slowly killing Cat.

Neka, Cirrea, and Keisha try to help Cat remember them by showing her photos of them with her.

    Chapter thirty-three: Back-Up Escape
Yusuke, Ayame and Botan make it to Purgatory. But they can't leave because the gate is shut down. However, a half-breed shows them another way to hell....

    Chapter thirty-four: Hell's Gate
The trio make it to Hell's gate. But there is a ravenous demon dog and a demon child guardian awaiting them.

    Chapter thirty-five: Half Devil
The demon's half-breed daughter leads the trio to kill her father. But why? Is this a trap?

Aku-ai leads Yusuke, Ayame, and Botan to the central hall where her father is. Angered by her betrayal, Akuma-san has her killed.

Slowly, Cat starts to remember everything and returning to life. But time is not on the crew's side...

And so begins the battle with Yusuke and Akuma-san.
