Ayako was walking to school when a motorcycle pulled up to her. She stopped in curiosity. The rider pulled off his helmet. A senior boy with short blond hair looked at her. “Hey babe.” he said. Ayako just waved confusion. “You new around her?” the boy asked. The girl nodded.  “Need a ride?” he asked. “Oh no. I’m fine.” she said. “Come on girl. It’s much faster on this baby than on foot.” the boy said. Ayako shook her head. The boy kept arguing with her until Ayako finally agreed. She climbed on the back of the motorcycle and the two rode off. “Oh yeah, Babe. What’s your name?” the rider asked. “Ayako.” the girl asked. “Hmmm... I won’t be able to remember your name. I know, I’ll call you ‘Cat’.” said the boy. “*Sweat drop* O-kay.” said Ayako.

     Ding-Ding-Ding-Ding. The Sarayashiki Junior High school bell rang. Cat, (Let’s call her Cat from now on.) and the boy pulled into the parking lot before classes began. All of the boys stared at the new girl. Cat looked like a model out of a fashion magazine. Her lovely long black wavy hair glistened in the sunshine and she looked great in her blue school uniform. The boys kept staring at Cat as she walked to the building. But she pretended not to notice them. While the bells rung again, everyone ran into the building.

     The first, second, and third periods were okay.  But by fourth period, our adventure begins. Urameshi Yusuke was staring bored at the front of the class. The teacher walked into the class. “Ohyaoo Gozaimasu class. Today we have a new student.” said he. Cat walked into the class. Yusuke continued to stare bored at the front of the class. “Pleased to meet to you all. I’m Ayako Thompson.” she said. Right then, Yusuke began to notice Cat. “She has a lot of spirit energy? But why?” he thought. “Dozo take a seat next to Keiko.” said the teacher. “Hai san.” said Cat. Yusuke decided to find out the new girl.

     But Yusuke wasn’t the only sensing something. Cat had her own senses about him. “That’s the spirit detective Urameshi Yusuke. But is he? I’ll have to see.” she thought.

     After school, Yusuke decided to follow Cat to find out more about her. All was fine with following her until she looked out of the corner of her eye. “Perfect! He’s following me. Now all I need to do is lead him away from the school in order to talk to him.” Cat thought. To make the progress go faster, Cat began running. Yusuke assumed that she running away from him so began to chase her. The chase kept on until Yusuke lost sight of Cat. “Damn! Now where do she go?” he thought. He looked around. Cat was no where in sight. “Psst. I’m right here.” said a voice. “Huh?” said he as he turned around. The voice was coming from a dark alley.
