The next day was a boring day at school. Yusuke was asleep on the roof when he felt a foot on his chest. The boy tried to push the foot away but it stayed neatly in place. Then the foot went in deeper. Yusuke tried to ignore it in his sleep. “Is that all you do up here? Just sleep?” a voice asked. At that moment, the boy looked up. Cat was standing over him with her foot still on his chest.

    “Well,” she continued. “Is it?” Yusuke didn’t answer. “Naze the hell are you up here?” he asked instead. Cat didn’t answer that question. Yusuke finally grabbed her ankle and forced it off his chest. Cat toppled over but managed to keep her balance and remain standing. The boy sat up. Neither said a single word. Yusuke just eyed her. She was a lovely girl and he could see naze the boys all stared at her and drooled over her. “With a body like that,” he thought. “I’d even fall for her.”

    Cat grew pissed. “Nani?!?” she growled. Yusuke snapped out of it. “Nani?” he asked her back. “Naze are you staring at me?” Cat hissed. “I’m not staring at you!” Yusuke barked. “Well, you seemed to be looking at me for a long time.” she snapped. “What makes you think that?!?” he barked. Cat opened her mouth to speak, but the bell rang. “I don’t have time for this crap! See you later!” the girl hissed. Then she ran down the stairs to class. Yusuke watched her leave. “Completely hot!” he thought.

    “That bastard!” Cat thought as she hurried to class. "If it was one thing she couldn’t stand, it was naughty little hentais. But yet….. “He is kinda cute.” she thought as she paused. But then her senses kicked in. “Who the hell am I kidding?” she thought. “I don’t want anyone! I just want to enjoy my native land!” Then Cat picked up her pace and hurried onto class.

    But fate would have a different turn on our heroine’s life. This would start later that afternoon. Cat was starting to walk home when she saw Yusuke going the opposite way than home. “I want to follow him!” a thought in the back of her head said. Cat grimly shook her head. Part of her wanted to do that, but a bigger part wanted to go home. But the part that wanted to follow Yusuke won out. So Cat ran after him in secret.

    As it turns out, Yusuke had to catch a minor incubus that had escaped from spirit world this morning. It was is the southern part of the city. Yusuke could sense it. But…… That wasn’t the only thing his was sensing. Cat caught on as well. “He’s on to me!” she thought frantically. So she tried to be more careful about her spirit energy.

    When Yusuke found the incubus, it was an alley feasting on a dead neko. It looked up and saw the spirit detective. Yusuke began to step forward. Cat was debating whether to help or not. Then the incubus took off when it sensed Cat. Yusuke didn’t turn around. “All right! I know you’re there! Quit spying on Cat!” he yelled. At that moment, Cat came out of hiding and stood behind him. “Hai?” she asked. “Naze are you following me?!?” Yusuke hissed. “Don’t worry about that now.” Cat said. “We’ve got an incubus to catch!” Then she ran after it. Yusuke looked lost. “Did she just say…. we?” he thought. “Come on!” Cat yelled. Yusuke snapped out of it and ran after her.

    Cat and Yusuke chased the incubus half way through town. Finally, Cat had enough of this folly and held her arms out. Yusuke paused and stared at her. “What is she doing?” he thought. An orange light formed in the space between her arms and became a bow and arrow made of light. Cat aimed her target on the fleeing incubus. “I’ve got you now.” Cat mumbled with pride in her voice. Then she shot the arrow and watched it fly. Yusuke watched closely as well. The arrow sailed on until it hit its target. Yusuke fell stunned. Cat just grinned. “Not bad, eh?” she said. Yusuke nodded. He was too shocked for words.

    The duo came to the fallen incubus. It was still alive. Cat picked it up and gave it to Yusuke. “I believe this is yours.” Cat said. Then before he could say another word, Cat ran off. Yusuke again had his answer. Thompson Cat was an ally.
