Marvel Movies Marvel comics has been around for quite a long time making comic books for young people to read and enjoy. They have always wanted to make a live action picture of their most famous comic titles. They made a spider man movie somewhere in the sixties and it wasn't up to scale with the newer one. It was not what they had envisioned. Marvel also made a movie based on Captain America and it was actually a really good movie. Then Marvel took a huge leap into Blade staring Wesley Snipes. Blade can be summed up in one word: amazing. The action, the excitement, it’s what Marvel had envisioned the whole time. Now Marvel has loads of comic based movies coming out.
They have already released the X-men movie and it blew the charts at the box office. Now Marvel is in the process of filming The Spider-Man Movie, Blade 2 Blood hunt, and the second X-men movie. They’re also in the process of writing scripts for Ghost Rider, Fantastic Four, The Hulk, Black Panther, Iron Fist, Doctor strange, and a whole slew of other comic book title that we all love. DC Movies
There has been many DC Comics movies and TV shows since the company was established. The most popular of all being Superman and Batman. In all, DC was never as successful as marvel in the media aspect of it's company. While Marvel is releasing new films and flourishing as a comic company, DC moves at a slower pace.
The Batman TV series was successful in it's time. Repeats of the old edition still air, as well as the new and improved cartoon. As for Superman, a new series about his young life has started, Smallville.
