Eddie Vedder

Contributions:

Bad Religion, Recipe for Hate
Paying homage to his punk roots, Ed contributes to "American Jesus" and "Watch It Die" on Bad Religions eighth record.

Mike Watt, Ball-Hog or Tugboat
A long time Mike Watt fan, Ed sings lead and plays guitar on "Against the 70's." He also does the backup vocals and guitar on "Big Train."

Fastbacks, New Mansions in Sound
Ed contributes his vocal abilities to "Girls Eyes," a song written by Keith Moon.

Gary Heffern, Painful Days
Ed appears under the name Wes C. Adle. He shares vocals responsibilities with Victory Williams on one track, "Passin' Thru". The record itself is on the country side of folk music, it's fairly difficult to find.

Dead Man Walking
Ed appears on both versions of this soundtrack. One is music inspired by the movie while, the second is the actual movie score. He preforms "Face of Love" and "Long Road" with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Often considered part of the "world music" genre, both records are absolutely beautiful. Ed also took the time to appear, along with Jeff Ament, at Not in our Name: the Dead Man Walking Concert, a benefit for Murder Victim's Families for Reconciliation.

Kerouac, kicks joy darkness
Released in 1997, this record is a spoken word tribute to the wonderful works of Jack Kerouac. Ed preforms a "pome", "Hymn," while Hovercraft provides the backing music.

Not yet released:

Ed will be appearing on a forthcoming tribute to X. Ed does vocals while Supersuckers provides the music on "Poor Girl" and "Devil Doll." No info on an exact release date yet.
