QUOTATIONS

Okay, this is where i dispense some knowledge, or more like some other guys get to dispense some knowledge and i just tell u what they said.

"Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but we rather have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.." - Aristotle.

And we kick things off with one i particularly like. Says it all, really.

"Don't Try and you can't fail" - Me/Homer/Dean.

Now, the origins of this saying are a bit hazy...Homer definitely said this to Bart (albeit not exactly in those words, but close enough) and i distinctly remember peddling this back in my intermediate days. Dean has also made a claim to this saying, and sparked a bit of controversy, claiming i stole it off him and he wanted it back. Well, we all know how Dean is, so i just ignored him for a while and he went away. But while humourous, and rather effective, it has no other real value in life.

"If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried."

"Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have."

"The man that makes no mistakes does not usually make anything"

"If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape a 100 days of sorrow."

"It is better to be a 'has been' than one of the 'never wases'"

Those were pearls of wisdom from my estranged Wifey (her personal fav: "Don't make love at the garden gate, for love is blind, but the neighbours ain't". Cheers Wifey! (don't worry! That child support cheque is in the mail, i promise!)

Of course, if you want a whole pile of quotations, just head to The People's Cybernation, hang a left at Victory City and check out their bountiful stock of quotes. They do this much better than I.

And if ya wanna add a quote, drop me a line! Benaza@hotmail.com!
