Peach Blossom Jellyfish

This site was made to teach people about the worlds only endangered freshwater jellyfish. In the picture above u can see ( Craspedacusta sowerbyi) or the Peach Blossom jellyfish. This animal has been around for literally millions of years. Some scientists can date Peach Blossom jellyfish fossils back the days of the dinosaurs. This animal is one of the most simplest organisms that lives underwater. They have very rarely been sighted alive but there have been scattered reports of sightings in other places on earth.

The Peach blossom jellyfish is an endagered species, there numbers drop lower every year, thats why there are so few sightings. Humans have contributed to the problem by polluting the water. All the chemicals can be toxic for the very fragile Peach Blossom jellyfish. That is why i have chose to do this report on the Peach Blossom Jellyfish.
