Casper is a cool guitar. I went through a period where I wanted EVERY Ibanez Jem that was around. Casper is a Jem7PBK. These are part of the first series of Jems that were in production. You can tell by the shape and size of the hole where the handle was cut into the body. These were made for about 2 years I think...maybe longer. But they are hard to find. Most hang on to them that have them, because there's a different feel to them. They balance a bit different, and they're just rare, so collectors like 'em. Casper is all-original, and was never even refretted. I'm afraid of it because he plays so well. Refretting inevitably screws with a guitar's feel. It may play better, but the comfort factor disappears...

Casper pretty much lives in his case. I still use him for recording, but never take him outside...don't want him stolen or screwed up.
