| Cheech |

Cheech, named after Cheech Marin (obviously), was a pretty cool guitar. He was a no-name thing I found at a garage sale actually, but sounded beautiful. The lady that sold him to me said her husband was a guitar player in a band at a mexican restaraunt in L.A. and loved this guitar. She wanted it to go to a home that would take good care of it. When she heard I had a collection, she figured I at least would keep it clean...
When I moved to Phoenix, Arizona, Cheech was one of the first guitars I took with me. I had lived there for about 6 months before I met a girl named Nikki who was a dancer i was kinda into. She moved in, and we got along great...until she fucked him up. I had Cheech in to get his bridge reglued and Nikki picked him up from the shop while I was at work. Problem is she was on the way to her club for work, and left him in the trunk of her car. Nothing better for a guitar than sitting in a trunk in Phoenix in July... Nikki and I lasted about a week after that. lol....
