These poor guitars are no longer with me. Bonnie was the strat, Clyde was the Les Paul. Bonnie had her frets ripped out with a screwdriver and the action set really high. I used her for slide, so it was fitting... Out of the electronics, only the volume knob worked. I disconnected the switch and tone knobs. The pickups were wired so that both the neck and bridge were always on. The middle pickup was pulled out. Bonnie was destroyed at a show when after a cover of "Layla" I felt the urge to toss her up in the air and let her fall. She cracked up the center of the body and the neck just went everywhere.
As for Clyde, he was not a very stable guitar. He was an Epiphone Les Paul, and had EMG's in him. But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get him to stay in tune. Even locking tuners would cure it. The neck kept shifting, it was really soft and spongy. So, once again, I was pissed, and threw a guitar...Clyde was split in many pieces, and some people at the show took parts. My neighbor Mike still has his neck hanging in the garage on a nail, with a pic of me at the show...lol
