Dolphincraft

/More/ flirting? What are these apprentices coming to?

You go to the Hall's Lounge.
Hall's Lounge
Cozy to the point of downright stuffy this lounge exudes a salty briny air. Overstuffed and comfortable looking are the chairs of dark blue that reside at one end of this circular room. The smattering of tables that they surround are nothing more than tops with scarred wooden legs attached as well they should be. Rugs worn with age decorate the polished floor of this relaxation area soft greens and browns making barefeet swoon. Paintings of charts and various sea mammals and fish have been painstakingly added to the walls creating the atmosphere of their mother sea. To one side of the bridge is a wide ledge area, extending out and low enough so that the waters of the sea lane lap quietly,... [look closer]
To the northeast, you see one person.
Settled near the water is FortyTwo
You see Breakfast_Tray here.
Rallaei is here.
Obvious exits:
Baths Men's Dorms Staff Hall Women's Dorms Infirmary Bridge Sea Lane
Jessa leaves the dorms, somewhat paint splattered, and grins at Rallaei. She then throws a tuber in his direction and looks innocent. Wasn't her.

Rallaei glares at Jessa with all his might, unphased, apparently by the tuber that's just smacked him in the chest. "Go away."

And that folks, is just an invitation for the Jess to come even closer. She bounds towards and pauses a few steps from him. She then goes all starry-eyed and looks cutely at him.

Rallaei peers up at her, idly picking the tuber from his lap. "See, I told you y'were in love with me," is said conclusively as he stands, taking a slow nibble from the tuber. "Can't deny it, in the end."

Jessa bats her starry eyes at him, and then pounces for him, intent on pouncing him back into the chair so that she can sit on his lap.

Rallaei is effectively forced back into the chair, tuber flying from his hand to land who-knows-where. And Rallaei ends up with a girl on his lap, and a scared look twists itself in with his triumphant one. "Right, there we have it... How you doin'?"

Jessa bats her eyes at him. "Guess what," she says softly. She tries to look all cute too.

"What?" is questioned back with decided lack of 'lash batting. (Rallaei)

Jessa announces very loudly, as if she were not talking to someone whose lap she was sitting on, rather to someone who was in the next room. "I decided ... that I'm a firelizard!" She beams and nods after her proclamation of this statement.

"Oh, I see! A firelizard eaten by a fish!" Rallaei declares, nodding sagely. "Good for you. But I thought they perched on shoulders? You're hardly on m'shoulder..."

Jessa grins. Finally someone that can see into what she really means! "Yeah, well, my 'lizards like to sit in my lap, and so do 'Chanta's. 'Sides, I can't really perch on your shoulder." She beams at him.

"Oh, you could be on my shoulders, though. And /my/ firelizards don't like my lap- they like my head and stuff. But I can't hold you on my head. I'm pretty sure we could do shoulders though." As Rallaei enjoys the lack of evilness.

Jessa grins and shrugs. "Yeah, I guess we could do shoulders. So you're gonna carry me around all day then?" Amazing though, they're not punching each other or hurting each other. At least not yet.

Rallaei shrugs lightly. "Not all day, but 'till I go back to SeaCliffs I suppose I could." And so he gives a slight shake of his torso. "Wanna climb up?"

Jessa grins and looks, well, happy. Has she finally found a new partner in crime to goof off with her all day long? "Alright, so, sure! And where are we gonna go today. Cause I wanna have some fun, and I'll bite ya if you're not a good humanpet."

"We could start with a nice jaunt to the beach," Rallaei decides, grinning for the idea. "Maybe a swim too, and then we could go to the Mug and feed you some scraps... I hear they have wonderful wherry-bits..."

Jessa just beams, "Yeah! Yeah! Let's do that!" Whee, they can play all day long and have so much fun. And skip lessons and such too, because a 'lizard just doesn't need to go to her lessons. Wait, a firelizard has no lessons.

"Sounds just about grand!" Rallaei enthuses, about to jump up, but being rather blocked by the JEssa sitting on him. "So... How d'you want to do this, then?"

Jessa grins and shrugs. "Hmm ... how about I just climb onto your shoulders? Or would your back be better?" Jess may not weigh much, but she's tall and there's a problem of balance that needs to be worked out.

"Shoulders are good, I'm strong enough and balanced enough for that, I figure. So you get up, and I'll drop down to my knees and you can sorta sit 'round my neck and it'll work out, right?" Rallaei says.

Jessa nods, although she's somewhat reluctant to get up ... and let Rallaei potentially run away. She stands up then and waits for him, reading to pounce him should he even -try- to get away.

Rallaei removes himself from the chair, crouching in preparation. "Just get on, then, and we can have the best of fun." Isn't this the girl he hates? Either way, a hand is offered for help up.

Jessa grins and takes the offered hand, climbing up to sit on his shoulders. "That okay?" Yeah, oddly, they're not at each others throats at the moment. Last time he was here, they fought. This is odd.

((Off-camera: And Jessa and Rallaei had fun. Lots of fun. They ran to the beach. They terrorized random folks. Then they went to the Flying Mug. They terrorized more random folks. Eventually they came back to Ista. The day was good.))
