Aren't they cute? One day after 2000 Worlds, while rummaging through random drawers, I came upon a Russian nesting doll kit. I thought, "Hmmmmm...." and thought that instead of using the traditional Russian doll patterns, I would turn them into some of my favorite skaters instead! Well, what did you expect?
Well, after months and months of procrastinating and planning and actually painting them, here are the photos! It's funny that I got the photos after 2001 Worlds, LOL, I'm so late...
The 2000 World Championships in Nice, France were also quite special to me, since they were really my "first" Worlds as a bona fide obsessed skating fan. Thus, I had all the stress, the frustration, the heartfelt joy, etc...What a competition that was! Going through 2001 Worlds, even with the live coverage, just wasn't the same to me. What am I saying, all the World Championships are unique in their own way. But I have a special place in my heart for this particular one. :)

Click on the thumbnails! Warning: they're really really really big! :)

A backside view, with those with a backside fetish, LOL...

Hey, I spent a lot of time on them! I might as well show you the other side, LOL!

Michelle, get ready for your closeup!
And since I've never taken a photo with the real Alexei, here's the next best thing! (I think, LOL..)
