GUIDELINES

We are an online support group. Keeping this in mind *please note* that none of the following will be tolerated within the group or between members. Rudeness, crudeness, vulgarity, swear words, threats of any kind, racial comments, or harassment of any form. This also includes harassing staff members, teasing, stalking, and any behavior that is offensive.

1. No chatting is allowed during group. Members may greet each other with a single *welcome* and exit with a simple *goodbye*. Members may chat privately if they require further assistance.
2. . Lessons last from 20-60 minutes, including breaks every 10-15 minutes (to be determined by the host) for open chat. Please save all questions or comments for open chat times or until the end of the group lesson.
3. The host will be typing in CAPS The host should be the only one to use  caps. This helps to identify the host and minimizes confusion.
4. Religious discussion is not encouraged during group. While we at "Support for Panic" respect all religions. We acknowledge our members rights to their own beliefs.
5. Pornographic material, XXX material and jokes are not acceptable within the group. If anyone receives any of this bearing the "Support for Panic" name. Please report it to staff immediately. (the exception to this would be penpals who have made the decision with each other to share this kind of information)
6. Any complaints or concerns regarding staff should be brought to the attention of the director or one of the coordinators.
7. Please remember that the staff are not Doctors or counselors. We have the ability to support and provide lessons and homework to help you with your anxiety and panic disorders, because we have experienced them ourselves. We are not a suicide prevention service and we do not have the resources for anything more than stress, panic and anxiety related disorders. Please see your doctor, should you require anything more than we offer.
8. The staff and members lists and names are to be used for nothing more than Support for Panic Group. We respect your privacy and will do everything within our power to protect it. No violation of privacy will be permitted.
9. Pen pals should try to limit their mail to only 1 per day if possible.....
10. Your name will be removed from the mailing list if after 5 days we can not get mail to you because of any of the following...... Member is no longer a member, Member is not accepting mail from your account, members mailbox is full etc.
11. There will be no TOSS'ing of members or staff....... you are receiving mail because you have asked to be on the list...... if you choose to be removed from the group simply use the please remove me link or notify any staff member. Please allow 24-48 hours for changes in mailing list to take effect.
