Sunny but cool. Nice day.
Well, I didn't go to the doctor this morning. I couldn't face it quite honestly. I woke up at 8:30 and thought about getting up, but I heard Fumihiko watching Rocky (AGAIN!) in the living room, so I decided not to go! In my defense, my throat did feel a lot better today. My side/stomach, not so much better, but I just hate doctors.
After my shower we both spent time on our computers and then went out for lunch. We went to Marumatsu, the Japanese restaurant near our apartment. It was okay. After that, Fumihiko dropped me off at my school and I got busy.
I had two classes today and I think they went quite well. Between the classes I read a bit of my book again (The Night Watch) but had to force myself to put it down so I could prepare the second class. When I'd finished teaching both classes, I cleaned up and then did dishes. I called Fumihiko and asked him to come for me.
We went to Mr. Donuts for some coffee. We haven't gone there in a bit, and it was nice to sit and relax together. When we had our two cups of cafe au lait, we came home and then Fumihiko went off again to his Mum's.
He came back and we discussed our evening plans. We didn't have any set yet. We made a reservation to go to a hotel on Monday night for an all you can eat steak meal. That should be fun. We've gone before and ate entirely too much.
We decided to go and see a movie and then before it have dinner at Cocos in Mikawa. So, we drove out there and had dinner. I had pizza! A big pizza. I'm a bit surprised that I ate it all....okay, Fumihiko had one piece, but I ate the rest. I was stuffed. He had curry and rice.
We zoomed over to the theatre, Fumihiko got the tickets and I got the drinks and popcorn for one. For Fumihiko. NOT me! I was seriously not interested in food. I said "hi" to my friend's daughter, she was working at the theatre tonight. Then, hubby and I went in to see Music and Lyrics. It was a fun movie. Definitely one that can wait for the DVD if you're not a fan of 80's music, but I enjoyed it. Hugh Grant must have a pretty good sense of humor about himself. I think he was channelling A-Ha and George Michael in the early part of the movie. I was laughing quite hard at that!
We came home when the movie finished and spent the next few hours net-surfing and blog-reading. It's very late now, and I'm getting pressure to finish up and get some sleep. And, personally, I think it's a good idea too, so I'll bid anyone still reading oyasumi nasai. Night!
