Cloudy but no rain. Hurray!

A pretty good day today. I had an early start at work, so I couldn't have a leisurely morning. Still, that was okay. I watched the news and did some mending for Fumihiko. He'd asked me to fix a pair of his pants that had split at the seams. I did it, but the thread I used wasn't very strong so I'm not sure that they'll stay fixed for a long time.

Today's brunch was the last of the mushy veggie stuff from the stew the other night. It was good. I did dishes and got on my way.

I was almost happy because it didn't rain. Hurray for that! After yesterday's depressing rain, I didn't want anymore rain. I don't mind too much when it rains on my way home because it's easy to change at home, but when all my clothes get wet on the way to work it's very depressing! Not only that, but it's horrible to put my wet clothes back on to go home in.

Anyway, today I had 3 lessons. My first student came and we had a good class. She seemed to want to stay a bit late and talk, but I had another student coming in a few minutes so really couldn't spare the time. She left, promising to call or fax my husband about something. I was getting ready for my next student and was running around like a headless chicken when I heard my cell phone. I thought I'd turned it off! It was my student, telling me she'd be a few minutes late, was it okay? Well, yes! I didn't mind. When she came, I was ready for her and we had a great lesson. I had a couple of hours break inbetween her lesson and the next one. I had originally planned to go out for a snack, but changed my mind. I decided to stay in the school. I ate a diet bar, read a magazine and relaxed for a while. When my next student came we had our lesson. It was okay. Not great. He likes to push my buttons and test all the boundaries that he can. Sigh. Still, we got through it. He had to do a listening test and I was surprised that he got them all right. I didn't think he could. Maybe he's learning after all?

After class, I was doing paperwork when I got a text message from Fumihiko saying that he was working late. I sent him back one that said I was too, but was almost done. I finally finished and headed home. I thought about making a stop at the McDonalds on the way, but didn't.

I had been home for a while when hubby came back. We talked and relaxed for a while then went out for dinner. We went to Gyu-oh, a yakiniku place near our apartment. It was quite good. We had all kinds of stuff, chicken, nabe, salad, and it was all quite nice.

Next we went to the grocery store to pick up coffee creamers, but somehow ended up walking out with much more. We had oolong tea, mikans, snacks, and a genki drink. Funny how none of it was mine except for the creamers!

We came home and since then have spent a quiet evening on our computers. I have two classes tomorrow, but Fumihiko is off. I'm not sure what he's going to do with himself. Hopefully he'll enjoy himself. Me too!

And that's it for tonight. Oyasumi!
