Sunny and a little warmer than before.
Today was a good day. I got up really late though, I just couldn't get out of bed at a good time. When I did get up, I started cooking. I made Crockpot Polidori again today. Its a bit of prep at the beginning. I had to chop onions and mince a couple of garlic cloves. Still, it didn't take that long, and I had it put in my slow cooker by noon.
I checked email, and later had lunch. I did dishes (oh joy! oh bliss! oh yuckky!) and read a bit of my book. It's gone in a very interesting direction. At first it was a love story, now I'm not so sure. Very compelling.
A bit after 4 I decided to go out. I was getting tired of staying home all the time and the weather was quite nice today. I went off on my bike to S-Mall. I hacked around the store for a while. I didn't get much for myself, a pair of long tongs for the kitchen. I think they'll be good for grilling my tandori. My tongs aren't that long and I often burn myself on the hot stove. I got something for my friend and then bought a few groceries. I didn't get much because I'd forgotten to bring my backpack, so I had to stuff everything into my purse AFTER I'd paid for them that is! I had a cup of coffee at the coffee shop and then came home.
Oh, I forgot to say, when I got to the mall I'd noticed a message from my dear hubby. He had a meeting and he'd have to work late. Poor guy.
When I came home I didn't do too much, I just played around on my computer and waited for my guy. He finally made it home around 10. He was really hungry, so we ate quite quickly after that. The stew/polidori was a hit. It was pretty good, but I'd used more pork in it this time so it wasn't quite as good I thought, and I'd run out of Worchester sauce too. Sigh.
We had dessert, some cut melon and then Fumihiko took his bath. It was a good day.
Oh, I probably won't be updating tomorrow night as I think I'm going to go out of town for the night. Don't miss me too much!
