Cold, blustery and snowy (but it didn't stay.)
A pretty good day. I couldn't wake up properly this morning. I tried to get up, but I couldn't. I got up about an hour later than I have been usually. Oh well.
I had a moderately busy day. I did some reading during my lunch time. I just started a book called The Reader by Bernhard Schlink. It's interesting so far. I'm not sure just where it's going to go. It was transfered from German.
I gave the apartment a not too thorough sweeping, and just before I took a shower I cleaned part of the bathroom that Fumihiko never does. For some reason he never cleans the door or the shelves in the bathroom. So, I did that today. I also threw out some of my old and probably past it Body Shop stuff. The sink room smelt really nice for a while, but these days I don't use a lot of scented creams and lotions because of allergies.
Fumihiko and I went out for dinner tonight, but bought kerosene first. We were getting low, and with the weather being so nasty lately, I didn't want to run out. Especially since its me that stays home and gets cold!
We bought some groceries in the evening and when we were in the store, ran into an ex-student of mine and his wife. I hadn't seen him in about a year, so it was a nice surprise.
When we came home I did something unusual for me. I ordered something from Amazon.jp. I decided to get a disk to help fix my computer. I'm having a lot of trouble with it still and the permission repairing is going very badly. It should be here next week. Fingers crossed.
Fumihiko watched Rocky again this evening. He really loves that movie. I can't remember how many years ago I got him the dvd set, but it was really worth it. It's one disc that he really does watch again and again.
And that was my day. it was pretty good actually. I enjoyed it very much. Tomorrow, no plans, but I'm going to cook dinner if all goes well. I hope it does! Wish me luck. Night night.
