Here Is The List
I was able to name all but two; reason being the members are responsible for the
operation and implementation of each. So here is the list of how Jesus is glorified in Chico.
1. Jesus is the Only Way TV Ministry,
2. Three Nursing Home Ministries, they are Twin Oaks, Rosemont and Oakmont, the first two are for an hour each week the third is once a month,
3. Three flyer Ministries at Chico State, Butte College and Laundromats all over Chico,
4. Web page with 11 different sections,
5. Two fishing signs,
6. Mall Ministry,
7. Change for Chico TV Commercial,
8. Discipleship Program,
9. Senior and children's bus Ministry,
10. Post card Ministry,
11. Prayer Meetings. This is the list, we stay busy for Jesus here in Chico and there are more Ministries in the works, it takes a lot of committed people in CHICO!
I am still available and would count it a blessing to come and bring a report to you personally ~ give me a call or e-mail.
The Marysville Church has sent out the Chest of Joash letters and flyers this month. I pray you have received yours. This was a nation wide mailing to raise awareness of the Financial need here in CHICO!! To date we have not yet received any funds but we are still looking to GOD in FAITH to supply our every need! The payoff is around $214,000.00. The Mission members are being very faithful about making weekly deposits to the Chest and our tithes and offerings are increasing but we still pray for your help! We will open the Chest at the organizational meeting after we have received an offering for it. So if you can’t send an offering before Feb. 26th you can bring it to the Meeting.
Series of Meetings
Please mark your calendars NOW for our Series of Meetings in which we pray we will be REVIVED!! We will begin Feb. 20th and continue nightly at 7:00 until we know the Lord wants us to stop. Our theme is HEAVEN OR HELL it’s your choice. The first weeks speakers will include; James Taylor, Houston Kelley, Ed Owen, Dennis Wharton, Keith Hooper, Scott Tourville and Gene Walker. Come and be a part of this blessing. Oh yeah there will be an OFFERING RECEIVED NIGHTLY for the Chest of Joash.
Accident Update
For those of you who have asked how Amber and Nathan are doing since their car accident they are fine. The car was totaled but God was answering prayer by taking care of them and keeping them out of harms way. When you mix a Honda CRX and an 18 wheeler normally there are fatalities ~ not this time praise the Lord. Both escaped without a scratch although Amber did receive a case of whiplash but she is feeling better. They have a new car now and are serving GOD in Salinas, PTL.
Welcome
We welcome Jeremy to the membership this month by Scriptural Baptism. He is one of the many visitors we have been working with. We are in prayer that soon the Lord will add the rest of our visitors. Our Services are consistently in the 50’s and if everyone would show up at once we would surely be in the mid sixties. Now if you can figure out how to get every one here at once LET ME KNOW!
