"Two years, ten months, a crack in the case,
Finally the murderers are put in their place."
At least that's what they led us to believe.
Again we see justice at its best, to deceive.
Family and friends felt a great sense of relief.
Four months later, returns the feeling of grief.
"Not enough evidence" is what they said.
"All charges are dropped"...our biggest dread.
The two suspects released without a trace.
Why were they arrested if they weren't the right face?
"Not enough evidence" to take it to trial.
"Justice" screwed up, there's no denial.
How can you accuse someone of such a crime,
And not have enough evidence to make them do the time?
Now the case remains at its dead end.
Who really knows, be it stranger or friend?
How can one go on with the rest of their life,
Holding such a terrible secret from their husband or wife?
Take a last look at this picture and see,
The pain that's been caused to friends and family.

A year ago today,
Jason and Sam passed away.
Mysteries remain,
The case is still the same.
No one wants to talk.
How can you let the murderers walk?
Two wonderful guys left us that day.
Open your eyes. Show the police the way.
I’m talking to you, the one with cold blood.
The news of their death rushed down like a flood.
A year has so quickly passed us by,
And still we ask, "Why God? Why?"
What was the reason they were taken so soon?
Our hearts were pierced by an evil harpoon.
The harpoon of death struck lives so young.
No one can explain how bad it has stung.
If you know and are afraid to tell, don’t hold it and keep it.
Tell the police…..it can be kept a secret.
It doesn’t need to be announced who stepped forward with a story.
Just bring a close to our prayers and worry.
All we want is justice served.
Give Jason and Sam something well deserved!!!
