Jason, there is so much I have always wanted to say to you, and just never got around to. I still remember in sixth grade, you had on your black cast, and we were at Jacobson playing tackle football. You said something to me really mean and then pushed me, and one thing led to another, and we ended up in a fist fight. That was the first and only fist fight I have ever been in.....especially with a guy! We became friends not too long after, and I am really glad we weren't enemies. You helped me so much these past two years with soccer, and taught me new things. Our freshmen year, while you helped Sunday coach our J.V. Soccer team, we took a trip up to Sonora, and there was one girl in particualr on the other team that just did not like you from the start. Yup, the girl/man, whatever she was, that pulled her pants down in the goalie box, right in the middle of the game! She mooned you on more than one occasion, flipped you off, and even called you Tire Boy. (I still don't understand that one to this day!) She gave us something to laugh about when we stopped for dinner on the way home! You always had something to say, no matter what the situation, and your personality...undescribable. You made a promise to me, not to long ago. You promised me you were going to get your act together. Your grades were going to be raised, and you were going to be able to play soccer this year. You followed through with that promise Jason. You really started changing for the better and got your act together. You weren't given a fair chance. You didn't get to finish the great thing you had started. We were going to train together for soccer this year remember? No matter what the case, I'll always have you in my heart, and I miss you so much!

Dedicated In Loving Memory Of Jason S. Bowen, This Poem I Write To You:

I answer the phone as it begins to ring
Not even thinking such a terrible thing
As Jaime tells me the news
My heart receives a permanent bruise
I breakdown and cry
Asking God, "Why?"
They say, "Everything happens for a reason."
A quote I vaguely believe in
It wasn't your time to go
This feeling I strongly know

No matter what they say, you're always there
Listening with so much care
You watch us from above
As we think of you with love

Never shall the memories part
As we all hold you in our heart
You're in a better place
A fact so hard to face

Starting forward on Heaven's team
In all God's glory, you fulfill your dream
As you dribble the ball on the greenest field
To none of your opponents shall you tend to yield

Today you turn seventeen
If only you knew how much you mean
The candles on your cake
Are best by no mistake
The light that they provide
Were born the day you died
You will receive the best of things
When God smiles and hands you your wings

Rest In Peace Always and Forever
