Desert Meditation

A Mystical Path

Other Sights in Death Valley

The minimum gazing time is 15 minutes for a proper view.
This was also the February when the Armagosa River flowed a foot deep near this spot!
The entrance of Twenty Mule Team Canyon.
Morning is the best time for Twenty Mule Team Canyon. Stop here and hike a dry wash.
Furnace Creek Ranch is the hub of the Valley. It’s very crowded, but has a lot of history for you to examine. Nearby is the Timbisha Shoshone (Show-show-nee) tribe settlement. Pay your respects and leave.
This is the palm- and water-garden at the Furnace Creek Inn, a stately old hotel. The Tunnel entrance is interesting, but the garden is the most pleasant and least crowded place in the valley, especially on a warm day. It's a peaceful place to meditate.
This coyote is a road-side beggar. His lesson was patience (no, I didn’t feed him).
Colored hills of the southern valley, not far from Jubilee Pass.
