The GENERAL CONTEXT of such use is:
The term refers to Dr. Singer's (see listing for Dr. June Singer) comments about the "Collective unconscious" as being "inner space" (see listing for such term) and that the "journey" to inner space is not necessarily easy nor a safe trip. Such comment is so, however the old maxim still stands also: "The more one KNOWS, the easier the journey becomes!" In this case, meaning with reference to such a journey, we mean that the more one has been able, individually and collectively, to "breach", or break down, Satan's Veil of Unknowing and "know" (become aware of) one's innate maturity of mind and all of its capabilities and possibilities, the more so, then, one can safely and surely "travel inward" and outward unto any and all realms of consciousness, ranging from the demonic spheres of influence to those positive spheres of reality overseen by Infinite Consciousness Him/HerSelf.
Therefore, as Dr. Singer was addressing primarily those of humanity of immature mind with such a warning, my advice is that the journey is worth the risk(s), and if one is secure in their positivity (in their KNOWING, i.e., "connection", to and with Infinite Consciousness, such that one can say, as Carl Jung was reported to have said, when asked the question, "Do you believe in God?", to have replied, "I don't need to believe in God. I KNOW Him!"), then one surely can journey into consciousness most enjoyably and rewardingly, in "finding" oneSelf AND in actualizing one's Giving of oneSelf to others and All That Is.
