What is Management Information Systems?

    Welcome to the Management Information web site. This site was designed in order for users to understand Management Information Systems, MIS.  There are many different parts to Information Systems, IS.

    Internet business, information technology, databases, and software are part of information systems.  These categories will be explained as you read about the topics on this site to learn more about MISEach topic will have information about them and links to other web sites; such as MSNBC, Wired.com, BusinessWeek, etc.  We have read articles from the Harvard Business Review and provide information that will support the concepts of the subject, MIS.  This site will provide the user greater awareness about IT.  Reading through this site will create a better understanding of MIS.
