Moser's Death
Season 4, Episode 45. Germany.

Director: Hans Werner
Screenplay: Peter Moser and Peter Hajek
Actors: Reginald von Ravenhorst as Rex
Tobias Moretti as Richard "Richie" Moser
Heinz Weixelbraun as Christian Shuh/Böck
Wolf Bachofner as Peter Höllerer
Fritz Muliar as Max Koch
Gerhard Zemann as Dr. Leo Graf
Marion Mitterhammer as Patricia Neuhold

Summary
A double-episode special and the last of the Moser episodes. There is a serial killer on the loose, kidnapping and terrorising his victims, and the police are stumped. Critised and pressured by the media, their only clue lies in the dominoe the killer leaves behind and the way he positions his victims. They turn to a police psychologist for help but will it be enough?

The Good
There is lots of good Rex/Moser interaction in this episode. Max Koch makes an appearance to help the Inspectors solve the case as Moser overworks himself. The ending is tragic (and rather obvious from the episode title).

The Bad
I was extremely underwhelmed by the actress playing police psychologist Patricia Neuhold but, to be fair, she did get a lot less screen time than characters like Inspector Elizabeth Böhm or Sonja Koller.

Disclaimer : Kommissar Rex is owned by Mungo film, Tauris film, SAT.1 and ORF and was created by Peter Hajek and Peter Moser. None of the characters, actors or photographs belong to me, unfortunately. I'm just borrowing them, having a bit of fun and then returning them more or less unharmed.
