Summary
It's Christmas and the Inspectors are throwing a party. Meanwhile, a young boy named Markus tells his dad that the one thing he desperately wants for Christmas is for his separated parents to get back together again. When Markus sneaks out of ice hockey practice to visit his mother, his friend Tommy is mistakenly kidnapped in his place. With two boys missing and one man shot, Moser and Rex have to put aside their Christmas plans to solve the case.
The Good
This was a really good, two-hour special. The Office Christmas Party is really sweet with ham roll decorations on the tree and Dr Graf and Max Koch showing up laden with presents. Interesting contrast between Markus’ rich family and Tommy’s working class family. Also good to see the kidnap victims with spirit, even though they are in over their heads.
