Summary
Dr. Hausner, a professor at a veterinary school, personally brings a sick beagle into the school kennel. His lover, Uschi Reichert, tries to talk to him but he tells her the relationship is over. Before he can get her to leave, his wife walks in. Later that night, someone approaches Hausner and injects him with a syringe. Moments later he collapses and dies. His lover contacts the police, convinced it was murder. She may be right but who did it?

The good
The beagle is so cute! I'm sorry but it had to be said. The plot kept me guessing. Theresa Hübchen was great as Hausner's lover. She certainly got the attention of the Inspectors. On a sad note, Moser's girlfriend Sonja spends half the episode trying to tell Moser something.

Disclaimer : Kommissar Rex is owned by Mungo film, Tauris film, SAT.1 and ORF and was created by Peter Hajek and Peter Moser. None of the characters, actors or photographs belong to me, unfortunately. I'm just borrowing them, having a bit of fun and then returning them more or less unharmed.
